Is that a classic franchise? NO.It's Planetside 2 guys.
Believe.
Can you tell me whereabouts in that podcast they discuss it? I don't want to listen to the whole thing.
Maybe it is something from Naughty Dog. Be still, my beating heart!
Same here. Please be true... please. I would even buy a PS4 only for a new Crash gameThat new 'Crash -> SCE' hint in the new PS4 launch video is killing me on the inside...
Near future, early 'space exploration' with Nathan Drake?
Further future, more advanced space tech with new characters?
I'd bet on something more like the former, what with the visit to SpaceX recently.
Another possibility is supernatural shenanigans that take our motley heros into some alien space wonderland, but I think they'll go with something more realistic like that first option.
I agree, I don't see any reason why Activision would want to keep the IP... Unless they want to put Crash in Skylanders.I get what you mean, but what are Activision really going to do with the IP that's of any value? Surely they'd prefer either money for a straight purchase of the IP, or a licensing fee so they could earn money for another team doing the work?
Makes no sense for Activision to be stubborn over this.
God i loved JF! I remember my first time playing... and feeling like i was going to barf up my cheerios and OJ. Ahhh, fond memories.
Looking back at it now... shit... that game was trippy as fuck!
Hold on a second, we havent confirmed that Valkyries on PC. Its capable of playing on PC right now, but we havent confirmed what were going to launch it on, he said.
Joke post? Seems far too obscure.Given the new info i'm going to with EVE Valkyrie

Given the rumored reveal of Sony's VR headset as well, it would make sense for it to be this.
Yes, at the PlayStation 4 All Access event. So we find out tonight?
So you are telling me Uncharted 4 is about to nuke the fridge? Like I said the Sony guy I the thread for this special teased epic space battles. That does not sound like an uncharted game to me.

Very clearly Naughty Dog, probably Nathan Drake, in space, on PS4.
Believe.

Wells, I'm just saying that these things are clear from the comments in the chat:
1) It's not a new franchise
2) It's a Sony favourite
3) It's in space
4) "Is this territory we've charted before?"
etc. etc.
I'll let ND figure out how to graft archaeological adventuring against a backdrop of - at least partially, I guess - epic space, but I'm sure it's very doable.
Then explain the PS4 LAUNCH TRAILER. Explain it.The only thing that doesn't jive with Uncharted is one of them saying 'is this 'Bandipoop'?' to which Kevin says yes...but maybe Bandipoop is just a pet name for Uncharted Or just another more obscure pointer at Naughty Dog.
Between the two - Uncharted or Crash - Uncharted is by far the more likely bet. Crash isn't a Sony IP anymore, Uncharted fits the 'favourite franchise' billing a bit better these days etc. etc.
