I guess that if their rule is "new protagonist = new numbered sequel" it maybe makes sense.
I'd say fake. The AC logo has never put "Creed" under the word "Assassin's" like that. Not to mention the thing looks like a comic/anime cover, not a rendered CG image like everything else.
Didn't even play III because of bad word of mouth, sounds like a lot of things and bugs that they need to fix and there's already IV coming out this year? Yeah I dunno about this. This reeks of overkill.
Probably the guy that wore the suit before he got it. I bet we'll get to see young Achilles in action and see howGod damnit, is that Connor?
So there's a chance the Puerto Rico might be there....
Don't do this to me Ubi.
This honestly just feels like them trying top the last game to continue to pull people in regardless.
YOU CAN BE IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR AND INTERACT WITH GEORGE WASHINGTON
NOW YOU CAN BE A PIRATE OMG
Assassin's Creed V will be ninjas. Calling it now.
This one is better.

They are over zealous with their perceived copyright ownership.
First in game image.

Why are they calling it AC4? Assassin's Creed: Black Flag would be better. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag sounds stupid.
It won't.
It never is. :/
Revelations was overkill. They should have given the series a break after brotherhood.
unless they take out the number, we will need to endure what happened after ACIII.
hmm im not too sure about that 'screen shot'
They cannot ignore the only Caribbean island that matters....
<.< don't look at me like that, you know is true.
Pirates are cool, so colour me interested. Fingers crossed you're playing as an old grizzly pirate with a sick beard. Old Ezio owns. Fuck these early 30s protagonists with their trendy facial hair.
At this point I doubt it's fakescreams fake to me as well, i guess we'll find out soon enough
The press are seeing the game this week. Judging by the careful reporting, and the complaints about embargoes just as the images leaked, I'm going to assume it's the real thing.
pirates? hidden blade replaced with hook?![]()
Am I the only one who thinks they should take a break with the AC franchise?
When it's being released this year then definitely yes. Probably being developed by tons of various Ubisoft studios similar to AC: Revelations.I wonder when they started development. Maybe it was started alongside ACIII?
One would assume they have marketing data that says people buy the game faster if it has a number.
Ubisoft can reuse the hidden blade hook from Revelations.
I hope not. That thing was silly.
