Unless it's a complete rehaul of the entire series, do not care anymore. Franchise wore itself thin, partially because of it's own pillars and consistently lackluster multiplayer, and partially because of the sheer amount of games taking from the series.
Epic needs to go new IP again for it's next AAA game.

I doubt it'll happen. Epic has full ownership over Gears, to be sure, but I don't see it happening.
Do they think that since Gears is in decline on Microsoft consoles, Sony gamers would be more likely to embrace a remake since they've never played it before?
Then again, Epic has been saying they are committed to the PS4, so maybe they are making SOMETHING for Sony. It definitely does benefit Epic to show other developers how well UE4 performs on PS4...but would they do it with Gears? I just don't know.

Well it may have been good then but its been a completely mediocre franchise now. I can't see some of myself or fellow Playstation fans going crazy over this rumor but if this is true its clear what Sony intends to do with this, which is please the 360 userbase and capture alot of gamers from the 360 moving into next-gen.
On the community boards there has been an onslaught of new accounts and new members introducing themselves as people looking forward to PS4 but bought a 360 last gen.
Personally, besides those not caught up with brand loyalty, this only infuriates hardcore fanboys with Bungie and Epic moving multiplat. Atleast its not exclusive like Insomniac or Respawn.
Personally I would prefer most if not all third parties going multiplat, but I expect more moneyhatting from Microsoft with timed exclusives.

Even though this is probably fake, I do hope they're bringing Gears to the PS4. Would be a a huuuuuge gigaton. I would eat it up instantly.

Opinions, not every Halo fan will share yours.
I'd prefer if it was a new multiplat IP. Gears is definitely not the way to go. It already seems to suffer fatigue like God of War. How ironic that both GoW seem knocked out.
And as mentioned, the photo was supposedly taken on the show floor, but it's highly unlikely that something this big would go unnoticed for so long (relatively speaking).

No, it's not a plausible mistake. If you had any idea what went into the process of getting those exact words in that exact order onto the screen you wouldn't have typed that.
