I just said "a penis." My penis is 12 inches long.

They should make a phone with an OLED screen covered by Gorilla Plastic that's the size of small map, but you can fold it up so it fits in your pocket.

That actually sounds fucking awesome.

Curious as to how many people saying 'gross' are currently rocking a phone with a perfectly sized 4" screen. Different strokes people, different strokes remember that!

I would actually buy this. I would get rid of my current phone (obviously) and my Surface tablet and just have one device. In fact, I've wanted a tablet that I can make calls on for a couple years now. I'd just worry about the battery lasting through the day.

God help us, I had the original note and while a screen that big was nice and all it really was not practical. This seems insane.

ok, lets stop the crazy talk about it being the same size as the Note II.

the Galaxy Note II is 151.1mm x 80.5mm

a Note 3 6.3" screen @ 16:9 would be 139.4mm x 78.4mm

that's with ZERO BEZEL, ZERO OVERHANG, a perfect cut. even with a 1mm bezel on each side of the screen, its already the same width. i guess technically, you can have 'no' bottom bezel too for another 0.1mm

but for top bezel, there's the front facing camera (and speaker, ambient light sensor and notification led, but those are smaller) taking up space above and that will take some space as well.

Will 6.3" even fit in standard sized pockets? 5.7" fits nicely enough, I'm guessing 6" would, but 6.3" might be pushing the limits. As long as they hit the pocketable benchmark, I want the biggest size possible. I use my phone primarily as a data/media device, but I don't want something so big I can't even carry it around with me.

The backlash against the first note and the smug "Apple has perfected phone design" posts were much more numerous for the Note I and Galaxy S2/3. I noticed it died down with every iteration. Have people begun to trust Samsung hardware designers, slowly but surely?

If they can do this with next to no bezel then sure, why not.

I hate big bezels. TVs these days have such tiny bezels, why not tablets?

I love my Note 2, but I think I'll have to bow out until they get their foldable screen into the mix. I'd much rather have a 4 inch screen phone that unfolds to become a 10 inch tablet.
