I'm really expecting them to announce Pokken for Switch.Pokken Tournament?
Me too!
Besides the big staple franchises like Pokemon, Smash Bros etc... I wonder if they are trying to make a kind of out of left field hit the way Brain Age or Wii Fit was too.
It's always a bad idea to hype up a Nintendo E3 presentation.
But too late for me.
That 2015 E3 was just atrocious, still suffering from PTSD.
You all know Bayonetta 3 is coming to Switch and people will be banned for port begging.

Nintendo is now in the next fiscal year. So these comments should apply from April 1 2017 to March 31 2018.
Which makes a lot of sense. They really do need to over stuff the shelves with games. They cannot afford any huge gaps.
Mainly because there are already people who ignore things like Arms and splatoon and think Mario is the next Switch game worth buying. So they need to overfill in between July and November.
I hope the rumors of a port of wii u smash aren't true and that it's a brand new one they announce out of the gate.

Gonna be hilarious when neogaf expects Metroid and we get another fucking Donkey Kong

With the way the Switch is doing, Pokemon Stars would do insane numbers if it exists.
Pokemon, Monster Hunter and Dark Souls. Bookmark this post.
I don't think they'll release Pokémon on the Switch until there is an install base that can snap it up. So I think late 2018/2019.
I really want them to make a conference again...
They would be the stars of the show...
Well duh..
I truly do think they should avoid Wii U ports at all cost for several reasons. First, the systems are simply too close in power. This is not a Wii to Switch scenario where things like resolution, textures, etc. can all be noticeably boosted. Second, many Wii U games they could port over might have been fairly recent releases. This is part of the reason I'm not getting Mario Kart 8. As much as I want to play it on the go, I still play it somewhat regularly on the Wii U.
I get that not everyone who has a Switch owned a Wii U but that is what the e-shop is for. Put the damn Wii U games up on there and focus on new content for the Switch.
Have you thought that perhaps Arms and Splatoon just simply doesn't appeal to those people? Rather than being 'ignored'?
Just like not every PS4 or Xbox One first party game appeals to their respective owners either.
The problem with Wii U ports, again, is that they aren't going to win over anyone that wasn't tempted to buy a Wii U for them when they originally came out.
A brand new Pokemon yeah, but Stars is supposedly the third version to Sun and MoonI don't think they'll release Pokémon on the Switch until there is an install base that can snap it up. So I think late 2018/2019.
Who would have thunk Nintendo had titles in development? Shocking!
Metroid please, I beg you.
