I'm interested. If the design keeps the screen covered when not in use, I think I'd be a lot more comfortable carrying it around without needing an awkward case.

Because Japan exists.Trailblazer said:At this point for the PSP1 why not? Are the game sale even worth pressing UMD's for it? Why not go DD for just for the PSP4000, and keep the UMD's coming for the the normal PSP's until the PSP2 drops?

It won't, so enjoy continuing to ignore the best part of the gaming market.sankt-Antonio said:if this has two analog sticks... and touchscreen im in again in handheld buissness![]()

no touchscreen?
no internal memory?
Meh. But it would be interesting if they somehow manage to slap a new hypervizor on it, so that pirates will not break it within a month of a release.

TTP said:Bottom line: as for now, PSN only games would totally kill software sales on the PSP.
Aru said:There's usually 6 years between each generation of Playstation (1994-2000-2006).
So I think it'll be the same for the PSP.
2004-2010.
I expect Sony to unveil the PSP2 at E3 2010 and the release date would be December 2010 in Japan.

Grecco said:Whats the point of a sliding front screen? Doesnt really protect the screen. Make it "slightly smaller"?
If this is the backlit AGS-101, it's not exactly an iteration (let alone an overhaul), what changed, frontlight -> backlight and a small button to switch between normal and bright levels?DMeisterJ said:GBA SP+
Again, there were also only three versions of the GBA.Angelus Errare said:I am fail =(
Well fine...too many damn GBA revisions?![]()

yeah good idea
but they should bailout from PSP already and make a PSP2 as fast as possible , PSP is hot in Japan so a PSP-2 if Piracy proof-ish of some kind can be very good for Sony right now .

I think the reason they put the psp 3000 on the market is that it can't be hacked.NeoGAFFer said:the hell? another PSP already?
