Lasagna's breakdown on Untucked was legit creepy. Ugh. She needs to stop smoking weed and get a Lithium prescription. That was hard to watch (although I was living for Bianca and Adore dragging her and telling it like it is).

I can't wait to see Adore (and I can't believe I'm saying this) and Trinity on All-Stars 2. Both should be far, far more polished.

I'm SO over these gentlemen crying on my TV every week. I'm also glad to see Lasagna go home. Here's hoping Joslyn is next, then Darienne after that. Courtney is a smug twat too. On a lighter note, Ben is cute out of drag. Too bad he's so one note. I'd like to see Bianca, Trinity or Adore win. But since no one I've ever liked win, except Bebe, I fully expect Courtney to take it home.

Milk should never dress as a "woman" again.

These episodes!

I'm eating my words about Trinity-- what a turnaround! Bitch was great in her ad with Bianca and fantastic during the comedy challenge. Also living for her finally bringing some personality other than petulant in Untucked. She might just be a contender yet, especially after passing the comedy challenge with flying colors.

I'm still baffled by the Darienne / Ben spat though as I posted earlier I do think Darienne has a hard on for Ben and is taking it out on him in a twisted way. I'm tired of the big girl and tired of her meanness toward Ben.

Bianca Bianca Bianca. Can we just change the name to Bianca Del Rio's Drag Race? She's turning into my favorite ever RPDR queen (after Miss Tammie Brown, of course). Of course she slayed in the comedy challenge but she was even funnier than I would have guessed and I really liked her look.

I thought the critiques of Adore were fairly on the money. I've warmed to her but I'm fine with whatever happens. Not winner material but I still peg her for top three.

Beyond tired of Courtney Act. She's bringing nothing to the table but, as someone else clocked above, smug. Over it, over her. Bye bitch.

Oh Josyln. I want to love you. You can take the girl out of Jersey but not the Jersey out of the girl. She's just always going to be kind of tacky, very sweet, well meaning but not as smart as she thinks. I think she's peaked, unfortunately. I wish she had pushed harder and farther. That said, she has my ETERNAL gratitude for sending walking drag cliche generator packing.

You have Bianca obviously steamrolling to a win... but then you have 6 queens where you could legitimately invite every single one of them back to All-Stars 2. There's a lot of talent this season, it's just that a lot of it still needs polish.

Can we talk about the way Joslyn sent her ass home, tho?

Laganja thought she was about to stunt her way through another lip sync.

But Miss Joslyn said, "DENIED"

The comedy challenge was kinda underwhelming. Most of them sucked. Only Bianca slayed... but even that was bittersweet since she recycled a lot of her jokes from her shows. I was hoping for more fresh material.

YAS. I bet Joslyn was expecting this trick since Laganja is so fucking predictable. I'm so glad she clocked ha.

Also, Laganja's looks in these two episodes, lord. She looked so fucking awful. I mean...

A damn mess.

I felt a bit bad for Laganja. Seriously, give the kid a fucking break.

She is obviously a histrionic-mess but well, maybe thats just how her real personality is? She wasnt even shady to other queens like Roxxxy, Phi Phi or the other edit-villains.

Untucked was rough; I saw a bit of bullying there, tbh.

I can't hate Laganja, she depresses me too much to not have some weird blend of empathy and pity predominate my impression of her. The weird anticlimax of her (long due) confrontation and her inability to really hear what they were saying made it worse. It felt weird and bleak. She's kind of in this unenviable position of both being extremely self-absorbed and incapable of introspection, while being hypersensitive to how others view her. In that way she'll always be a victim, but she's a much worse victim for that than if everyone just hated her.

I don't think it was meant as bullying, but I think Bianca and Adore were too prodding (like the second time she was kind of just sitting there and it wasn't in response to anything) and they probably should have known that that wouldn't work. I think they were probably trying to understand her, in a way, and I do think that's probably her personality (we arguably all have more than one 'personality'), but you can't just try to kick someone's coping mechanisms out from under them. Especially if it's a little more serious like here where she honestly seems like she has some kind of mood disorder.

Laganja's far from my most disliked queen this season (that honor's going to Milk and Courtney ZZZ), but I can understand how she's annoying.

Her "ghetto" personality is borderline offensive in how phony it is. And she's incredibly passive aggressive. Want to know the fastest way to piss a room off? Say shit like, "Well, from now on I'm going to worry about me...because I have a heart." When you do passive aggressive shit like that you're just begging to get torn to shreds, and not only that, you deserve it, because you're being a coward. Say what you want to say -- don't hide behind this false niceness. Laganja knew what she was doing.

Her saying that always read as insecure, though. I practically feel like this complex insecurity is the thread her entire personality is woven from. It was kind of like what Joslyn said about demanding attention, and it seems like a childish strategy, and attacking her (I don't think the queens did, but I do honestly think she felt that way) feels like attacking a child. It made me feel bad. I welcomed it at first, but her breakdown was kind of it for me. Though that's not really to present myself as a compassionate person, I think truly compassionate people are good at placing themselves in the other person's shoes, and I'm content to not even try to do that, it was just uncomfortable to watch.

I haven't had time to catch up episode 8, but in untucked 7 Bianca told it like it is, when you do the math, her "moment" back then with her family was no such thing, and I'm sure every single "moment" has been like that. It is really creepy and I think she is just trying to be manipulative of the situation as well as the actual audience, I honestly don't think I would like to know her personally.

I think she's manipulative too, and I think it's creepy. I would never want to know her either, and I've been wishing she'd be sent home for a long time. I think there's something off with her. I actually think the girls had good intentions, and I wanted it to happen. I just think Laganja has a thread or two loose and she's way too easy to unravel, and when it happened I just felt bad and I didn't really feel like it helped her. When you have friends that are like mostly well-adjusted people you can pull the tough love thing, but Laganja is in way too deep into whatever that is. I think she should see a professional or something.

Honest to Liza, that simultaneous drop into the split was amazing. I was screaming.

Those were two amazing episodes, it has to be said.

It's Bianca's to lose at this point. She's not had any major criticism from the judges yet, which all of the rest have, and the remaining challenges play to her skills, unless she fucks up.

I really want Dela to do well, but unless she pulls it together I can't see her making the top. It's a shame, because i think she's kind f screwed by the fact that her drag is the Dela character. She's said in interviews that she struggles with depression and anxiety and Dela's 'terminally delightful' character is one of her ways of coping with that. So her drag is built up around her not showing vulnerability. Hopefully she'll figure it out and slay.

Courtney, Courtney, Courtney. You're getting the Detox edit, my dear. Arrogant and complacent.

I flove Adore. She's ridiculous and needs a lot more polish, but she's a great queen. I'll miss her eye-rolls to camera when she leaves.

Darienne remains weirdly bitter. I hope she gets called on how similar many of her runway looks have been. I know it's harder for big girls, but that's no excuse to be wearing the same silhouette constantly.

Trinity has surprised me. The power of Bianca's tough love (I would totally watch 'Bianca del Rio's School for Girls', actually), I guess. I don't know if i see her making top three, but she's going much further than I anticipated.

Joslyn, bless her, is living on borrowed time. She's hilarious and sweet, but her look isn't up to the rest of the girls' level. It's not that she's unpolished - though she's still painting for stage, not TV (her highlight in the black & white look was way too much) - it's just that her style is kinda trashy

So glad to see Laganja go. She has apparently said in interviews or on twitter that the producers didn't let her take her medication - presumably weed - so I wonder if she was self-medicating for whatever crazy is lurking in that head of hers and without it she was, well, just a bit unhinged.

"Bianca del Rio's School For Girls"
YASSSS somebody start a kickstarter and let me donate because it would be life affirming

I went back to the part when Laganja's talking about Alyssa in Untucked and it just makes it sound like Laganja wanted to do drag because Alyssa does drag and felt like she'd be boring without the drag aspect.

My thoughts:

Bianca:
As someone said earlier she is getting such a winner's edit it isn't even funny. Not to mention how she has won over the younger queens over the course of the season sans Laganga who never could see Bianca was at points just straight up giving her advice. She even helped warm me over to Trinity and Adore who are becoming real contenders. If I had to point out one flaw with Bianca it is her runways aren't always great.

Courtney: She is polished in most aspects and relies heavily on her strengths. Kind of the Chad Michaels of the season except much shadier to poor Joslyn. To be fair she does try to help Joslyn but her catty comments kind of created a rift between the two. I know Courtney is better than this and needs to show a softer side of herself.

Joslyn:
While I like her bubbly energy, I think her dresses are a hot mess. Edit, edit, edit. Up there with Darianne Lake with zzzzz worthy runways.

Adore: She is making strides at improvement and is one of the funniest queens on the show. I love her and hope she refines her comedy as she progresses.

Lake:
The Great Salt Lake is more like it. She (technically) beat Dela fair in square and she needs to get over her beef and bury the hatchet with her. While I do agree Dela was getting a big head the past two challenges had Dela realizing that she isn't as safe as she thought she was. I like DL (in small doses) and hope she doesn't get such a bad edit when she is inevitably booted. As far as her samey looks go I have to say despite being a plus size queen I have to refer to Latrice Royale who was one of the biggest queens and always had a good array of dresses even if they had flaws. Latrice is still my favorite plus size queen in Drag Race history.

Ben Dela Creme: It was painful seeing her flounder so much in the comedy challenge when I know she can do so much better. Hopefully this slice of humble pie will go a long way in improving her. The quotes from Lear also help shed more light on her and her persona and I hope she can show her vulnerability since she is a great queen who needs to refine her looks and show why she came up with Dela. I also agree with Michelle that her episode 7 look was atrocious, dildo and all. Overall, I am happy she got the save since she is one of the biggest contenders but I kinda wish April would come back. There goes that hope.

Trinity: Talk about a turn around. My only fear is that she regresses. It was great seeing her excelling out of her comfort zone and not playing on her strengths like Courtney. Her past two runways were incredible as well. Her and Adore are two queens I hated initially and now hope they make it to the top 5. Bianca is the best thing to happen to her otherwise she would have been out by episode 7.

Laganga: Laganga, Laganga, Laganga. I saved the worst for last. I had a headache for both episodes of Drag Race and Untucked and I source it back to her OKAY's and tongue clicks. My god, shut up shut up SHUT UP! Where do I begin? First, nuh uh. You can't clock your drag mama when your nails look like a dream catcher they are so tangled (BTW hi miss Edwards <3). Second, it is pretty bad when even your good friends say you are getting on your nerves. Third, props to Adore for reading her dead drops, causing her to drop dead. I laughed when she did a second one after Joslyn schooled her in the song. Fourth, as others have pointed out don't clock others for coming after you when it looks like you got your head stuck in a cotton candy machine. Fifth, I would say there were crickets during your comedy routine but I am pretty sure even they fled the area. Good bye Laganga 'nails on a chalkboard' Estranga.

As far as 'bullying' goes I feel bad at all since if you watch closely there are times when Laganga was actually tolerable at points in the competition but when she got clocked she turned into a harpy. When Adore tries to help Laganga she goes behind her back and insults her on her looks. A simple 'I am sorry I will cool my jets' would go a long way. It's sad because I believe Laganga is actually nice when the cameras aren't on her but my god is she was an attention sucking vacuum throughout the competition. She became the equivalent of someone talking a selfie at someone's funeral. If you were on her side you were her best friend (she was going to beat eventually since she was better than you) but if you were against her her you were a heartless monster taking away from HER moment. I really couldn't wait for her to go along with Gia.

Laganga was clocked for these moments and no amount of crocodile tears can make me feel bad for her. She seems better off than most of the girls of much much humbler beginnings and yet she cried so much she could probably fill a lake with her tears. Maybe that is why Darienne was so salty.

The only down side of her being gone is that there is no longer an easy target for Untucked for Bianca. Sorry about the long post, I have been meaning to say this for some time and having to deal with two episodes of Laganga in a row pushed me over the edge. /rantover

Untuckeds should be heavily edited and manufactured for the rest of the season now that the lightning rod is goneja.

10 min preview for ep 9. Mini challenge is AMAZING and
animal/nature runway ahhhhhhhhh
.
This is it girls. This is the episode we've all been waiting for...

Courtney's Angel look

Ben's insect(?) look

And Trinity is giving me a fierce tribal/samba look

Jos looks like a mess. I can't tell what Adore is wearing, it's potentially decent. Mother Bianca, bless her nurturing snatch, is wearing a basic animal print dress. And Darienne is Darienne in chocolate milk.

If it's animal themed, then what the hell is Darienne, a Hippopotamus?

But coming for weight though? That's a shameless easy target. Joke about her personality, something at least constructive. Coming for the weight is lame. Come on.

I'm happy to not bring it up again after this, but Darienne has shown herself to be a huge asshole who's stuck on the same few cheap shots. I think she's earned a couple at herself.

Coming for Darienne's weight is a cheap shot, true, but she is serving
hippo realness next week

on closer inspection though, she's almost definitely going for elephant. And Joslyn is a zebra hooker.

I really appreciated Trinity trying to get LaGanja to take a breath and calm down, even if it was futile. I think Adore and Bianca should have known better than to try to talk to her in that situation though... she's the kind of person that needs to be told those things without an audience otherwise you'll get what happened there. I don't think she's acting or anything, but she's going to go straight to "I FEEL ATTACKED" and she'll just log it as an instance of you bullying her.

Trinity is kind of adorable when she isn't doubting herself, and if she'll continue to be confident then I hope she sticks around. I love Joslyn as a person but I imagine she's not long for the rest of the competition.

I really liked Darienne at first but this nasty undercurrent to everything she's saying makes me sad :(. I don't see her sticking around for too much longer either.

Courtney had some sweet moments in the show where she seemed very body-positive and encouraging and accepting but the stuff she was saying to Joslyn, who she KNOWS idolizes her really rubbed me the wrong way. She's beautiful and accomplished but she's not showing me enough to justify her arrogance towards the competition. It seems sort of disrespectful and delusional to sit there and say "nothing's been hard for me" when she's just been boring every week with the exception of the singing challenge.

I had LaGanja in my top three because I couldn't think of a third person and she seemed to be a good performer... u_u;; What a mistake. If only I had known Bianca was such a contender previously, there is no way she's not winning this.

A damn mess.

Ha, I made this picture/work of art.

Lasagna, Lagangrene, La-gone-ja - finally! It's been so disappointing to watch her crash and burn. The last few weeks she's seemed hell-bent on challenging Magnolia Crawford as the worst contestant this season. But even beyond her rank personality, what does she do successfully besides death drops, otherwise known as the Detox jaw jiggle of season six? The outfits, the paint and the wigs have consistently been a mess. I'm glad she seemed to vaguely acknowledge that Adore carried her through to victory in episode 7's main challenge, though, because to me there was nothing "teen" about her performance in the final cut of their commercial. She's completely deluded and needs to stop tainting the House of Edwards's good name. It was hilariously pathetic and annoying how she was responding out loud to Alyssa's video in Untucked! as though it was adressing her specifically. How is it possible to go through life with such little awareness and no capacity for self-reflection?

Hopefully Darienne is next to go. The double save in episode seven was a useless moment that fell completely flat for me, because it should have been obvious to anyone with eyes that Ben outperformed Darienne in every single way and did not deserve to go home yet.

What a difference these last two episodes have made for my impression of Trinity, though. I've wanted to see her go home just to avoid enduring her defeatist attitude, endless self-pity and constant excuses, but she really stepped it up this week and I hope she continues improving.

So...were Courtney and Michelle wearing the same ear-rings in episode 8?

Also (while I really enjoyed both episodes) some of the blatantly scripted but not tongue in cheek segments made me cringe. (Old lady in the audience crocheting, or the off-camera "heckler.")

And thank god at Lasagna going home. She's really a fierce lip-syncer, and I did feel kinda bad cause it really seemed like she didn't know where all the backlash was coming from, but good god she was pretty insufferable for most of the time.
