The first server was around 90. Don't remember this last one but it did rubberband a lot more than the first. This one so far has just had an inherit lag in everything I do. I'm hoping my connection is just being shitty right now. Any other westcoast players to test it out?
K seems to be at around 100 now. I guess downloading the info servers was causing the ping to show up higher? Is there a way to check the ping aside from the server browser?
Unfortunately you can't trust the server browser. If you ask my while you're in-game I can check for you. Not sure there's a way for people to check at the moment.
It feels a lot better for me right now, though not sure how to check in the client, other than refreshing the server browser.

I've had to stop playing too, bloody exams! Shame really, as this round I have built my best base thus far.
There is a grace period of a few minutes (up to 10 maybe?) before your bag despawns. I had a situation where I was taken by surprise by a zombie just when it was getting dark. I died probably 4 times trying to get my stuff back. Got it all back eventually though.
Yeah, its a bit twitchy right now. Think I will just roam with a rock for a while!
If I catch you online tomorrow it's yours ;P.
Host enforced restart. They're trying to restore FTP access, so they're making changes in the back end.
Edit: Going to reinstall the mods when I get back in about 3 hours. No wipe yet, but may look at wiping the world (Not characters)

Characters have things like memorized blueprints attached to them. A world wipe that conserved characters would mean everything you built would be gone. A character wipe would mean that anything your character knows through blueprints would be gone.

When you die you lose everything right but things are kept in storage boxes? I should stick to the same server then? Also what happened to the dingalings?

You lose everything on your character when you die. But stuff stored in storage boxes will still be there. Of course anyone can steal that, unless you secure it or hide it well.
You do retain blueprint knowledge though. Meaning you'll have access to more stuff on successive lives.
There is no server to server persistence. It is maintained per server.
When you die, any of the things you were carrying will be dropped in a bag where you died. Other players can loot it or you can try to get back to it. Anything in your storage crates will sill be there.
To re-erect the dongs (hur hur) press f1 and enter in censor.nudity false.

I'd vote for a world wipe, got 2 of my shelters/houses raided since I thought the world actually was wiped and didn't check them in for a long time and improve my security.

Performance. The GAF group has constructed quite a few monstrosities and their effect on the server is becoming noticeable.

I agree. I'd like to see some mods I'm noticing on other servers. Like shared doors.
If my character knowledge stays I'm ok with this wipe.

Heh. Since the server was going down we were life fuck it, gather all the charges, lets go blow some shit up. Was glad that there was actually people around to defend instead of running into sleepers.
Yeah I was gathering some stuff out there and heard some c4 go off. All of a sudden I saw like 3-4 guys with flashlights on and I'm like "dude they're coming for us" and that you guys did lol.

Man that was a great video. I was alone up there shitting my pants. My offline bud had the M4 and I lost my bolt action outside so I was there with an M5 and a shotgun. the other two times I died was just trying to get my guns back lol. You guys actually didn't get to the loot room which I am happy about but you took me out and got to the top of my tower. Great job. You guys are pro.
aww man, someone raided my house overnight.
They (?) were gentlemen raiders though, just let me sleep soundly while they looted everything. Sleeping bag was not destroyed. And they either didn't find my leather satchels (even though they were in plain sight) or they were kind enough to leave them there. They were full of blueprints.

Where is your house? We hit lots of houses yesterday and today, yours may have been one.
I was already offline by the time you guys did the attack, but to me yesterday was plane day. 2 planes came at an 1-hour interval, and then another one came when Vehn thought it was a good idea to try out his very first supply signal.
Needless to say there was much fighting over the loot, and I'm glad to report we prevailed each time. I don't even know who it was that we killed, but we killed lots of dudes :lol.
