Ryan Dunn passes away, car crash

Many people should just never be allowed to drive. It sucks that basically every single person that wants to drive will just be allowed to do it for their entire adult life after passing one easy test as a teenager. I know so many goddamn drunks that drive like that all the time and it pisses me off that there's nothing that can be done about the danger unless a cop actually catches them in the act.

I spend most of my time on the Gaming section when it comes to NeoGaf, and people can get banned for pretty trivial things over there. In the Off-Topic section, can users really make jokes about Dunn's death and wish it upon others and get away with it? That's some inconsistent bullshit right there.

Well, this man may be an exception because of the way he made a living. Also, I doubt that any of these quips are even remotely mean spirited.

Read that on twitter. Not funny, but I guess someone has to be a dick, right?

I remember Dunn saying that he hoped people would be making jokes when he died, so I wouldn't get too upset over some of the comments. It is what he would have wanted...

My brother had called me up earlier this morning telling me he had heard this on the radio. Crazy shit. We had been watching some old Jackass episodes last weekend.

RIP, man.

Not sure why people are hailing or even thinking of marathons? If it gets proven he was drunk and the driver .. ugh.

Damn, you're so right. I will never ever watch anything with Dunn again because he drove drunk.

Was racking my brain trying to figure out how I knew the name. I need to watch Haggard... Its been like a decade since I watched it.

Except for the people wishing the same would happen to Bam. That's pretty dickish.

he wrecked less then 10 minutes from my house, i might drive around there and see if i can find the spot.

sucks though, i ran into him a few times and he seemed like a pretty nice guy, genuinely.

seriously man?

R.I.P to Mr. Dunn....

But at the same time already lost a close friend due to some idiot drunk driving and running a 4 way intersection and hitting him...I have no tolerance for drunk drivers

Doesn't sounds like they're really considering drink driving?

I'm sure it will be determined at some point.

But the only reason it would matter would be the potential lawsuit from the family of whoever that passenger was.

Not that it would matter that much.. it will likely be determined he was traveling at very high speed.. so already negligent.

Had he lived and his passenger died he'd be facing manslaughter charges sober or not.

Not sure why everyone is ignoring that drunk or not he was being reckless, broke the law, and could have murdered any number of innocent bystanders.

Well that's great defense for a tasteless joke.

Ya, I can't believe people are making these tastless and juvinille jokes about Ryan Dunn dying in a car crash caused by him goin 110 mph on some back roads in Pennsylvania.

Jackasses.

TMZ reports he had 3 lite beers and 3 shots over the course of about 4 hours.

Sorry to say, but he won't be getting any sympathy from me if true.

I have zero respect for drunk drivers.

I'm fine with tasteless jokes but to say, "it's ok because I had a friend who died in a drunk driving accident," is just shameful.

In the "one drink and hour" context that's just two drinks before driving. Two drinks may not ever crack .08

I agree... still waiting for something official though.

In before "that's not enough to get him drunk" or "would have been out of his system by then"...

Im surprised he only posted that bit on TMZ

One of the friends tells TMZ ... Dunn had 3 Miller Lites and 3 "girly shots" between 10:30 PM and 2:10 AM -- nearly a 4 hour span -- but he was "not too drunk to drive."

But according to another person who was inside the bar that night, Dunn was "wasted" -- and "had a lot to drink."
