Many people should just never be allowed to drive. It sucks that basically every single person that wants to drive will just be allowed to do it for their entire adult life after passing one easy test as a teenager. But the only reason it would matter would be the potential lawsuit from the family of whoever that passenger was.

Not that it would matter that much.. it will likely be determined he was traveling at very high speed.. so already negligent.

Had he lived and his passenger died he'd be facing manslaughter charges sober or not.

Not sure why everyone is ignoring that drunk or not he was being reckless, broke the law, and could have murdered any number of innocent bystanders.
