Doesn't surprise me one bit that you would think that way. I can easily see people thinking this looks better than KZ because of the character models. Saying "nothing comes close" is just wrong.

Indeed we were. Hell, the visuals were never in doubt. It even looked amazing in the E3 demo where plenty of gameplay was shown. But fortunately the gameplay has been changed and polished up as well.
I have been hard on Microsoft for some of the bullshit, but ultimately, I love just games. The Xbone has and will have games I want to play. It's as simple as that.

Hopefully you know what that usually means.
A part of GAF was all too happy celebrating Ryse downgrades when they learned Crytek reduced the number of polys of the main character
Killzone is a very different game with much larger arenas and huge vistas. The 9 minute gameplay video had less detailed characters than Ryse (imo) but the draw distance looked very good. If that kind of game had any appeal to me I wouldn't be saying its graphics were inferior to another product.
I also dont think that 'nothing comes close' is accurate, but its the best looking launch title we've seen. It looks better than Crysis 3 at times and thats freaking achievement.
Technically its very advanced too, its not only character models.

Yeah my preorder is the one that comes bundled with F5 which is the entire reason I impulse bought it as the units went within hours.
Not even played a simulator since the original GT either, so a bit of a gamble.

I agree that it looks great in every area, but character models is the one area where it's ahead of the other next launch games in my opinion. They look really really great. Overall the game looks incredible.
