Maybe this small studio founder is obsessed with all things Kojima and has been referencing the latter's games/logos/antics throughout his previous projects, however small they have been? That is more reasonable than the gigantic machination that is being thought of here. Not buying it one bit, although I have to confess that such a cleverly concocted marketing push would do wonders for a series that has a cult following, but lacks the reach of really successful ones. I genuinely wish that they had thought of something like this, a la Moby Dick carnival of stupid, to introduce an anticipated title; I miss those days...

While this may seem plausible on the surface, there’s stuff from years ago that are crazy coincidences to Kojima shit that came out well after. Timeline is wild.

It's a profound series of coincidences. Either we're a bunch of ill-ass Lemony Snickets up in here, or there's something to this.

Google Translate is the smoking gun, tbh. GT isn't translating everything Japanese into Kahraman. It's translating Hideo and Hiro (hero) into that word. The Japanese dev that people think is behind this game. That isn't random at all.

I looked at translations early, and found the sneaky/handsome warrior translation before, but thought it was a clunky label like we see in many Asian translations. However, I never thought you'd get a 1:1 translation of any of the actual names involved. That's a bit too on the nose.

Jeff Grubb probably the biggest journalist whom believes in it, said a couple of months ago that it wasn't likely to be done by E3.

His current position is tha
- there is still contract negotiation and talks
- nothing about that contract prevents Kojima from making a second project with Sony

I think i (might be) a believer. There are several points that hint towards Abandoned being Silent hill and Blue Box Studios being actually a studio opend by Kojima. I've tried to compile all the ones i could find for the moment:

• First, the tweet that started it all.
• Hideo Kojima used a fake studio when teasing both Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and PT. The one for P.T was named 7780s Studio and the one for MGS:V was from Sweden
• Abandoned, received a short teaser-trailer on PlayStation Youtube Channel, alongside a blogpost hiting for a release later this year. Silent Hill Composer also teased a new game reveal for summer 2021 (which was shot down by Konami)
• The animated PS Studios logo that plays ahead of first-party games glows blue for a moment, creating a… blue box
• Blue Box Picture? (Six days ago)
• Kojima recent tweet with words Silent and Hill
• There are no saved trademarks for Blue Box Game Studios. But their trailer claim they do.
• Blue Box Game Studios Youtube Banner is a bunch of Hills
• The Blue BOX Game Studios logo is basically PlayStation Studios logo colors inverted.
• "Blue Box" is a term used for phone scams
• Employees at Company Likedin profile use Stock Photos.
• Geoff Keighley follows Studio in Twitter.
• At the Abandoned Trailer, at the 0:49 seconds mark, the letters P and T are covered by the trees.
• A couple months later, BLUE BOX Game Studios revealed that Abandoned would get its own PS5 app which would let players run the game’s trailers in real time on the PS5. This is a curiously specific thing that not even first-party PlayStation Studios games have done, so it raised some eyebrows that this unknown game studio would be the first to pioneer the feature. • Most of the tweets made by Blue Box are at strange local time hours of around 3:00 am. The studio is claimed to be located in Netherlands.Kojima is located in Japan which is 7 hours ahead in time.
• Hasan Kahraman has an account on PSN(SneakyWarrior) with a total number of trophies 1238, the same for the japanese silent hill commercial.
• Hasan had Youtube Channel Called 'Twentyseven27' (Silent Hills was cancelled on April 27th)
• SneakyWarrior (Kahraman) played a game that isn't available on the PS Store that is using Siren Head as an image. Junji Ito reacted to Siren Head a few months ago and implied about working with Kojima.
• Hideo translated from Japanese to Turkish means "Kahraman", which is the last name of Hasan Kahraman, the head of blue box games. Both of their names mean Hero in their respective languages.
• Hasan Kahraman does have an Apple App Store profile with a bunch of low-quality asset flip games under his belt. The only app that’s not a game is called “Go Fit XL,” which sits under the Health and Fitness category. The description of this app says at one point “Personal Training ( PT ) Programs.”

The events of 9/11 had a huge impact on MGS2. They had to cut quite a bit of content, not in the least the climactic final cutscene where Arsenal Gear crashes through Manhattan.

I can imagine it had an impact on Kojima as a developer because of all the crazy last-minute changes they had to make.
