Nope just be careful and don't disable things if you don't explicitly know what they do.
But for those that claim AMOLED's are too saturated or have inaccurate colours...
Literally bought it an hour before you replied. Great minds.I have this one. Extremely minimal, but a decent drop bumper
Galaxy S7 Edge Case, Spigen® [Thin Fit] Exact-Fit [Black] Premium Matte Finish Hard Case for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (2016) - (556CS20029) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A7IDCC2/?tag=neogaf0e-20
Quick case review.
If you're looking for a case that gives good all round protection and has a bit of style too, definitely check out the Spigen Neo Hybrid case.
I got the gold one to go with my gold S7 Edge and it looks and great. The pictures can't do it justice. Matched with your phone colour it just looks so damn nice.
The grip of the phone is much improved too obviously and the buttons are effortless to press.
I got the slim armor case too for when I'm at work. Its not as nice looking, but also not really much chunkier either to be honest, if at all. To be quite honest it almost feels like its not that much more substantial than the neo hybrid case.
If it wasn't for the fact that I want the neo hybrid case to stay looking good I probably wouldn't bother with the slim armor.
The button press on the slim armor is so easy to press that it almost feels too sensitive and that they could be easily pressed in a pocket. Well see how it works out.
Why is LED indicator all or nothing? I like to disable LED indicator for charging, but like it for the colored notifications for different apps (blue e-mail, green kik, etc). My old phone the S4 allowed me to shut off LED specifically for charging, and keep it on for all other notifications. There is only a on/off option for the LED option.
Someone already figured out how to turn microSD cards in the S7 to internal storage the way Marshmallow intended.

Unplugged my phone at 7am and it is now 9.11 pm and my battery is at 18%
But I only have just short of 4 hours SoT, what the hell do you guys do to get 5+
I use auto brightness, I have wifi on in the house and off when I am out. I keep bluetooth off and I have disabled a number of apps that I didn't want.
I do use a light background though.

Firstly, which phone, and what carrier? Also S820 or Exynos? There are going to be lots of factors at play. Have you done anything to debloat your phone?
On a side note, hell hath frozen over. Verge gave the S7 Edge a 9.1, which is actually higher than their score for the iPhone 6s/6s plus.

Surprised they don't do a separate review for each device the way they do for the iPhones.

If you just got the phone, it won't be good on the first run. The light background will only matter if you spent a lot of time on it. If you have bad reception, it will definitely drain more and if you were moving around a lot, your phone wasn't going into doze mode. Also, the facebook is evil so I would disable that if you haven't yet.

has any device gotten a 10 for battery? They didn't even give the Xperia Z3/Z3 Compact a 10 for battery...
Is there any absolute need to charge this 100% before using it the first time? <_<
Misses and my edge's showed up today, great feel in the hand as a first impression. The recycle your phone mailbag was a nice touch by Samsung. Part of me wants to water dunk test this thing as advertised but another part knows better.
Any tips for someone migrating from an iPhone5?
These are a few to get you started.
I hope mine shows up tomorrow. I want to get in the Gear VR queue too!
So I called TMO about my order. The guy said that Samsung gave a limited supply and that the Pre-orders far exceeded the demand. Once the green light was given to ship, the whole system messed up which is why some orders are going out before others.
He said Samsung has released all their stock today, so it may ship tonight, possibly tomorrow.
Bummer, but I'll hold out. I thought about heading to the store in the morning, but then I'd have to go through the hassle of returning my other order.
Even though our phones showed up on release day today the GearVR is yet to be delivered, not bothered by it but worth a mention.

Nice. Thanks.
Factory reset. Hold down the power and volume down i think when you are starting it up.So I have to send back my LG G3 phones to Verizon. I am going to remove the SD Cards, but I am wondering if I should wipe the whole phone before sending them.
If so, what is the best way to just clean the whole internal memory?
Nice! I am tempted.Well so far ... phone is NOTICEABLY faster ... but that should be a given. I'm not used to minor UI changes between the S4 and S7 but it won't take long to get used to.
Happy with the upgrade and I've only really spent an hour or so with it ... will mess around with it tomorrow while at work most likely.
Nice.
Now people can enjoy a slower overall expeeience.
is there any testing for this? I'm assuming you mean the on board storage is faster than an sd card would be. By how much, and does Marshmallow account for this and intelligently put things in places where speed would matter? Don't have any Android devices which have external storage so I haven't' really done much research on how it works yet, maybe you have a link handy.
EDIT: that wasn't too hard to find lol. So basically it looks like it may not be the best idea to use adoptable storage for now.
Yeah I wouldn't recommend. Even the fastest MicroSD cards are gonna be a ton slower than the flash storage Samsung uses for their phones.
That and no one currently has any idea what happens if an update comes out.
One question I have, though, is the S7 Edge's compatibility with the S4's charger/cable accessories: can I use my Galaxy S4's wall charger with no ill effects on my Galaxy S7 Edge, as a backup? I intend to use it in the office, and the original S7 Edge charger will be used at home.
I'm coming from a Samsung Galaxy S4, will be picking up my Galaxy S7 Edge tomorrow.
Can't wait to experience the ridiculous performance spike, as I'm leaping from 3-year old device that's been slowing down and losing its durable battery life over the years.

Has anybody receive a email back from the T-Mobile Samsung offer deal?
I submitted mine a couple days ago, but I don't know how long the wait for a reply should be.
