ive never used one on any phone ever. Your far more likely to damage the screen by dropping it and it landing on an edge and shattering than you are to scratch the screen some how, which is why i get a case. Plus screen protectors fuck with the quality of touching the screen.

well the s7's are everywhere. the edges are at some stores, but the silver s7e's are no where to be found.

I have one ordered but am debating on even installing it. Being water resistant I'm not fearful of running water on it to clean it. My co worker is pretty hard on his phones and has his keys in the same pocket. No scratches yet.

Mine's doing about the same with 10% an hour. I also use the Moto 360.
 
Sooooo has anyone else gotten any news from tmobile about the offer? I did all the requirements the day it went live and never even got a confirmation
 
Just got my spigen neo hybrid case for my s7 edge and it's so pretty, even though it makes the phone a bit bulkier. Looks great in silver with all the little accents.
 
Regarding the VR claims, you guys need to simmer. It will take 4-6 weeks for them to even REVIEW the claims according to the boilerplate in the email confirmation.

while it fills with the tears I spill over not yet having my pre-ordered phone.

sammy have really nailed it this time with s7, i might just be buying my first sammy phone soon. ive yet to hold it with my hands though and it looks quite a bit wider than iphone which concerns me but i will check it out.

can anyone on here confirm is s7 has the reachability feature like iphone? it would be a night to use one handed if it didn't

So have a question about contacts. When I am using goggle chat and type some names, it shows their name like 10 times .... with the same number. I have the worst luck with contacts on Android phones. I do not use facebook and only have my gmail account/google+ that I thought I shut off .... or something.

What is the best way to fix this?

Go into contacts and merge all the duplicates.

I tried that! When I click on the contact of my wife for example, it has her linked 4 times that says phone, 2 Google and 1 Cloud (assuming Verizon since I only save contacts there).

Edit: I am turning off Verizon cloud. No reason for that just for contacts.
 
So what screen mode does everyone use?

Sometimes I switch to basic but it makes the screen slightly too warm imo

And adaptive is slightly too blue
 
My third day with my gold s7 edge 32gb from verizon. Thing is an absolute beauty and the beast all in one package. The battery life is just insane. I charge it in the morning and then I don't have to charge it till afternoon the next day, thats just crazy. So much win. I can fast charge it with the fast wireless charger i got with the samsung pay promotion gift card. Android has so much customization :-) Not to mention what an absolute looker this phone is, Love the always on screen.
 
I am absolutely loving the batter life on this phone. Went on a 14 hour road trip for the weekend and the phone beasted it up even with my use. Really loving the phone overall and it is slightly faster than the s6 but much smoother.

I changed a setting that makes my home screen not reveal any of the information as in who called me, what the latest text is, and other details that would normally appear on the main screen.
 
I'm not having the best of luck with the Samsung transfer software. I get to where my old phone is preparing data for transfer and the Galaxy at some point tells me "The devices will be disconnected" with the only option to choose is OK.

Going from on HTC 1 to the S7
 
Ok I am losing my mind... I am not receiving group messages from some people on iPhones now after switching to the S7 from an iPhone 6. I have deactivated iMessage in every conceivable way, have sent individual text messages to these people, yet in the group message I am not receiving messages from certain people.

How do I solve this? Is there something I can do? This shit enrages me, I hate SMS and MMS.

Are you using the OTG adapter that came with the S7 to do the transfer? That should be the easiest way to do a transfer.

Yeah I have tried via Bluetooth and the cable that came with the S7. It seems to be timing out. I managed to select my bookmarks only and it was small enough that it did it quickly and completed. Anything else I select takes too long preparing and it gives me the message about disconnecting.

Thanks, I did one thing after reading this that I hadn't yet, which was to remove my iPhone 6 device as a registered device from my iCloud account... could potentially solve my issues.

I wish the whole world used GroupMe/WhatsApp.

Another small/random question, but in the default Messages app, is there any way to remove the "(No subject)" from Group messages and instead show the most recent message like individual threads?

I prefer Android to iOS in nearly every area, but dealing with SMS while so many people in my family (and America at large) use iMessage is very frustrating. I have not been receiving group messages from certain people for 2+ days now, and if it wasn't for knowing the people in those groups I'd be none the wiser. That sucks.

isn't that the real reason why they haven't fixed the issue yet?

so people complain and blame it on everything except the actual problem then give up and go back to iOS when that's what causes the problem in the first place?

rewarding their hijacking of communication standards.
