Every product of theirs I buy has some sort of stupid omission.

The phone includes a USB cord but no driver, and the instructions don't even mention the USB cord at all.

When you do download the driver from their website there's no instructions on getting the phone to recognize it and connect to the computer.

Their monitor includes a driver disc with misspellings, half translations and sloppy programming. It included support for exactly two monitors, niether of which is the one it was packaged with.

There is no way I'd actually buy a top shelf product from these bozos.

Samsung is not your tech support.
If you can't figure out how to hook up a phone to a computer, even with a supplied driver, call the Geek squad.

If you can't figure out that no monitor needs a damned driver in this day and age as any generic one will do, with the worst possible outcome being that you have to manually specify resolution and refresh rate, again, call the Geek Squad.

Samsung is one of the few electronics companies I have any faith in. When I replace my shitty Acer laptop of shittiness, I´m replacing it with a Samsung.

It's not Samsung's responsibility to make sure their product works as it's supposed to?

Thank you. I learn new stupid shit everyday.

And I already said the phone didn't come with a driver.

My Samsung phone takes literally eight steps to send an IM, not including typing the IM itself.

That said, all my other Samsung stuff is amazing.

I guess you did something wrong and Karma decided to fuck with you. Never had an issue with a Samsung product.

Was about to say something about having never used any Samsung products...but then I looked slightly down and hey, my monitor is from Samsung and has been going merrily along its way for 5-6 years now. Sucks about your phone, though.

I like other Samsung products but I'll never buy a Samsung phone again (I'm stupid and it took three Samsung phones for me to make that decision).

Samsung is a Three Star* product.

Samsung means Three Stars

I think they're a hit and miss. My HDTV is now entering its 4th year iirc, still going strong. I've had Samsung DVD players that crapped out though.

Same. I was a huge Sony whore, with monitors and displays, but Samsung just provided a better value.

Even Sony uses Samsung panels. I think they're trying to get away from that with R&D in other TV techs.

Pretty much every Samsung product i've used was great. My first digital camera was a Samsung, and excluding the shit audio quality when making videos it was great. I used a Samsung HDTV in Scotland. It crapped out after a minute of use, but the Samsung tech support had it repaired within days and gave me a temporary replacement during the repair. Right now it's still going fine (unless my parents have fucked with it.)

I use a LG XCanvas now though. Samsung's PAVVs are too expensive.

I've always had problems with Samsung products- and a phone I got from them was slow- irsponsive and half the time did something different to what I wanted it to.

Wasn't too happy with their plasma TV (buzzing, uneven light), but it was pretty cheap. Panasonic plasma that I got a year later is really much better, and it was just a bit more expensive. One of their newer phones I tried had amazing OLED screen but practically useless UI. Overall, I don't really care too much about their stuff I guess.

Why do you need drivers for your lcd? Can you get drivers for your phone on their website?
I doubt you "need" them.

Usually "driver" CDs are just calibration tools for monitors. I got one with my BenQ, but it didn't seem very useful.

Sometimes you need them for USB hubs on the monitors... I think...

LCD- It allowed me to get more sophisticated with screen quality control.

Phone - Nope I looked on their website for my model and the only thing they had for download was the FAQ/Instruction manual. I ended up downloading RAR file filled with Samsung phone drivers from a tech help forum. I dug deeper and found I needed PC Studio.

All to no avail, as I still can't connect to get to my pictures.

My Samsung HDTV and monitor are great. Cellphone is kind of meh, but hey, it makes calls and texts, what else do I need one for?

Samsuck. No doubt.
I will never understand why so many people buy and praise their shitty products.

Probably because they don't typically make shitty products? They own the HDTV world right now.

Brand loyalty/angst is stupid. All major brands have churned out a shitty product now and then, but Samsung's on a roll with alot of their stuff lately. Put your money into a product, not a brand.

My Samsung monitor sometimes has these fuzzy little red pixels populate the black areas of the image. They're sooo annoying

If you don't like Samsung that is fine, but don't come in and throw "Samsuck" out there without backing it up. I personally like my Samsung purchases but I am curious to hear other people's experiences.
