Guy at ocremix named robotaki made a tribute by remixing a song in his style, really, pretty awesome.

alhkjdfasldjfhafas;lfkjas;klfjs;ldfkjs still can't believe it :(

I hope we get the pleasure of listening to his unreleased songs. I wonder if shing02 is going to go ahead and try to finish the second trilogy of luv (sic) by himself.

Some of these tributes are really beautiful. Fuck, why Nujabes!? Why muthafuckers!?

I still can't believe it.

Cosign Nomak. I believe he's Nujabes protege. Some of my favorites from him.

Some of my favorite stuff by Nujabes is when he works with Cise Starr.

That's because Cise Starr is amazing, Cyne is easily one of the best Hip Hop groups of the last decade. If you haven't already done so, listen to all of their stuff, pretty much everything they touch is ridiculous.

I'm just finding out about this tragic news, and honestly I feel sick down to the core of my soul. Nujabes music has been an essential part of the soundtrack within my life for years, and now with him gone.. I feel that this pure essence of my life has been taken away with him. Considering how gloomy its been outside and how depressed I've been feeling lately, today would been a well suited day for some Nujabes. But after hearing about this, I don't know if I can even bare listening to his music (just too much for me to handle now). I guess if their is any positive aspect of losing such a great artist, is to witness the countless souls he touched with his passion..

fuck how did i miss this? one of my favorite living musicians... this sucks :( i was always looking forward to what he was going to release next.

gah... RIP. hope somebody comes along and picks up where you left off :/

I don't know how many hours I spent in the art college listening to his music after-hours on my laptop while plugging away at some project. there was always something about it that inspired me to work on my pieces nonstop. it was always my go-to music to motivate me to work creatively :( i have so many college memories from this..

my tribute to nujabes...pretty rough, but whatever...loved dude...he had skills, will be missed :(

lyrics
i dont rap for the fame
i rap cuz it's rain outside
stiking my window pane
like the clouds was in pain
with a million wounds hence leaking out all of that rain
it's so insane
and i notice when im sitting on my bedside
i start imagining thinking about sled rides
just a couple weeks ago it was sled time
now it's March, so we gotta later bedtime
the sun stays out late so amazing
give credit to the daylight savings
but now it's anything but blazing
in fact it's kinda chilly outside
the sun is just caged in
above the gray skies the rays they stay dim
my minds slow, look how the day daze him
i'm kinda loving this right now, can't stays in
and the water on my sneakers don't faze him
the smell of rain, now that's just pure amazing
it's sure beats sitting playing playstation
it's so charming the opposite of alarming, like a prequel to the storming
another silver morning

my silver morning, i stay fly
my silver morning, i love the grey skies
my silver morning, morning
my silver morning, morning, yes it is, yes it is

my silver morning
that's so charming
now it's storming
i was starving
for a morning just like this, pardon
if im getting excited, honest
normally i can fight it, stall it
hold it off, but in spite my strongest
effort i was enlighten by it
now im hear to recite inspired
poetry, call it floetry
i told the beat, that i'd expose the beat
to something you ain't never told a beat
emotionally the rain was poetry
now im sitting here dancing in the middle of the street
while the rain drops drips on my head to the beat
and the cars that come down the lane wanna beep
their horns at me cuz they're so deadly
so heavy, that if they hit me, then they'll flip me quickly
and then i'll go swiftly
in the rain, without much pain
what's a silver morning, without much rain?

my silver morning, i stay fly
my silver morning, i love the grey skies
my silver morning, morning
my silver morning, morning, yes it is, yes it is
my silver morning, i stay fly
my silver morning, i love the grey skies
my silver morning, morning
my silver morning, morning, yes it is, yes it is

"Nujabes' Last Song"
Can anyone tell me if this is legitimate? If so, then wow, I really like it. It makes me sad listening to it.
Edit: I notice it was posted on April Fool's day.. Still, I'm not sure. It's a nice song and sounds very Nujabes-ish.

Does sound like him

also was reading shing02's twitter and he tweeted this last week

as I was sayin, almost done with luv(sic) 4&5. track titled "luv(sic) grand finale" was found on nujabes' cell, it's dope.

Finished my 2nd viewing of Samurai Champloo yesterday, seriously the show is amazing and I don't think it would be that good without the music. :(

Nujabes :(((

still listening to his music every day, don't think I'll ever stop

I had two of his soundtracks in addition to his work on Samurai Champloo, all of which were excellent. Prayers to his family.

Well this sucks... ): I really enjoyed his stuff in and out of Champloo, and I was planning on importing some albums soon. Will get a few more in remembrance.

A friend told me today, such horrible news.
Like someone posted earlier, he just seems like a classy, friendly neighbor that you never really got to know better. His music just helps me wind down whenever I need to; what a talent.
My prayers to his family.

Taken from his label's site, hydeout.net, they are announcing their tribute album featuring lots of familiar artists! It's due out in November. It's pretty heavy on the engrish, but what exciting news!

Dedicated to Nujabes...

"Music is not comes from somewhere,
Music is what we create"

He was keep saying that in his life.

The music that he created with his uncompromising
stance is something that he wanted to tell people
from his heartstrings.

The music he created his own is loved by many people
and moved peoples hearts.

We have been meeting to a lot of people through
such music and I hope we can continue to spread our love
to music that has been brought up together.

I am so happy that many of his friends were able to
participate for this album.

I hope Nujabes can hear our message in the heaven and
his music would never stop playing in
people's mind forever.

Great news. I still listen to his music daily.

This. I was just listening to his music earlier today. One of my favorite musicians, can't wait for this new album. The world will miss his amazing melodies.

1 year to the date, as a fellow gaffer in GAF-Hop pointed out.

R.I.P. seba, pouring one out for you tonight my friend. went from "that guy who did that awesome music in champloo" to one of my top producers of all time so fast when i explored the rest of his work/hydeout productions.

again, in case anyone missed it: there's some excellent tribute albums out (on this page even) and you should really check out uyama hiroto if you haven't. just youtube his name, there's a reason these guys worked together.

*edit - ^damn, his "last song" track was indeed touching.

i'm at work so i cant say if its good or not - here it is. thoughts?

Don't know if I'm going to be able to make it through the tribute album without tearing up. FFS, Nujabes' stuff is seriously beautiful music. The fact that he's dead and we won't get music from him anymore is the really sad part.

For people who're looking for similar stuff, check out YooSin's YouTube channel. (No, it's not mine.) It has a lot of stuff that's similar to Nujabes.

Thanks to the posters who bumped the thread with the new stuff.
