Side note: It's such a shame that they keep using Armisen to do Obama. Pharoah does a much better impression. Hell, *I* do a better Obama impression than Fred Armisen.

I'm a week behind, but I enjoyed the premiere. I'm glad they did some fresh material instead of the same skits over again, and it was pretty good overall. I'll check out last night's episode tomorrow.

After last night, so do I. Excellent episode. It was easy to see coming, but the ranch dressing sketch had me on the floor laughing.
It's also nice to see the most of the cast getting face time (except Paul Brittain seemingly) and not just Kristen and Armisen dominating.

I haven't seen Bridesmaids and until SNL all I'd seen her in was Mike & Molly, but she seems to be a natural at sketch comedy. I actually laughed out loud at some of her sketches, something I rarely do with SNL anymore. She's being wasted on that crappy sitcom.

Not a fan of this past episode. I felt it was a lot weaker than the season premiere, and I didn't find anything to be really funny. The digital short was particularly disappointing considering that those are usually pretty good.

Some funny comments on the fox news bit.

"Pocahontas was not named after a stripper"
"Nicolas Cage did not sign the Declaration of Independence"

Much as I like Foster the People, the lead singer's keyboard playing just reminds me of Tracy Morgan in the Christmas sketches SNL used to do.

Damn, that's EXACTLY what I was thinking.
Never heard of this band.

When did Seth get so good at Update? He used to be insanely awkward. He's still no Norm or anything, but he's better than Colin Quinn or Jimmy Fallon.
