The Jenna Jameson's butt joke slayed me for some reason.

I'm trying to figure out what made them all lose their minds, lol. I mean, Hader always loses it when it's his turn to get interrogated in that sketch, but I think it was Jason slamming his butt so hard down on the desk.

And wow, here's to the first tolerable music act on SNL in weeks!

I think there was a cup of pens/pencils on the desk or something. Couldn't see it, but you could hear it fall off.

It was Jason jumping up onto the desk, landing on the corner of a pencil/pen holder and sending it flying off the desk to his left. That and the sound of the impact.

Bill was losing his shit proper lol. Gotta love it.

Maybe it was the wedgie

So, were the medical side-effects skit and the Verizon skit like, exact lifts from ones aired earlier this season?

wtf

no, they're prerecorded

Well...I know that. I'm saying, were they the exact same ones from earlier in the season, or just slight variations? They seemed to be nearly identical if not the same.

And sidenote, I know this isn't a popular opinion, since there are a probably a lot of Jack White fans in the house, but man, why does it seem like so much current music has to sound bizarre and off the walls to be considered good enough? I'd kill for something melodic and hummable instead of this racket.

Can you give like some sort of... standard you'd like all music to go by?

Listen to some White Stripes albums, especially something like De Stijl. White has made plenty of hummable songs. I would also say the first song he sang tonight was pretty standard and not at all bizarre.

Yeah, I mean, it isn't like there were any rock songs that sounded like Jack White's second performance tonight before the 2010's :|

Anyways, as others have mentioned, check out The White Stripes albums.

Haha, I know, I sound like an old man yelling at the clouds. And yeah, I did dig the first song he played tonight. I have very unpopular opinions among my peers when it comes to music. I shouldn't have spoken up. Never mind.

Well personally I dont really vibe that hard to Jack White, I was just curious if you could crystallize what that specific thought you had there was about music being bad now. I hear that a lot and I'm always baffled by what that is supposed to mean, it seems like such a humongous sweeping opinion over an artform
