Say something positive about a game that you hate

The Getaway featured great strides towards a more immersive presentation, with no HUD. It did a lot to keep itself from being a mere GTA III clone. There was no minimap, so you used turn signals to navigate. Health was indicated by noticeable damage on the character model and regenerated by leaning up against a wall, instead of picking up health packs, and so on.

the order 1886 has top of the line visuals at the time of its release.

final fantasy 13, 13-2, LR - Lightning's original character art design is nice, I see how people would waifu her just base on soley that.

the division- a modern-ish setting and a more accessible and lay back way of enjoying something that loosely resembles the core fun part of the Dayz genre (who to trust who not to trust in DZ, sort of a big map based on a real city, roam w friends. If murdering other people is your type of fun, division also provides that with some restrictions to make sure you don't go far enough to ruin other people's fun too much in the process)

The Uncharted series is emm a decent Tomb Raider sim.

I don't get this. How is Uncharted like Tomb Raider? TR games were puzzle/platforming with very very little combat whereas Uncharted is a third person shooter action game. Unless you mean the new TR in which case... yea those games basically copied Uncharted.

The later (pre Uncharted) Tomb Raider games had you shooting lots of people.

If he did then surely it should be the other way round as the new Tomb Raiders copied Uncharted...

Arkham Origins

Everything about the game pretty much sucks, but the boss fights were amazing. It was a pretty big surprise, every Arkham game besides Origins has had AWFUL boss fights. Rocksteady should have just outsourced that stuff to WB Montreal, they actually know how to make villain confrontations feel impactful.

I guess you never played TR before this era. Uncharted didn't start it, that's for sure. Also she's killed her fair share of people on her journey. Uncharted is TR over hyped brother. But don't get me started, i'm trying to say something nice.

Get triggered somewhere else.

Demon's Souls has two neat boss battles.

When I opened this thread I expected FFXIII (which I liked a lot) and some edgy stuff like FFVII.

But people mentioning Bloodborne,Demons Souls, Wopfendtein TNO? I can't even.

My personal contribution is Deus Ex: Invisible War.

It has Deus Ex in the name. Thats about it.

Yeah i don't get the Dark Soul title hate either, but i was not feeling the Wolf TNO game. Marketing was amazing and so was the OST.

But it seemed way too dated and i was literally asking myself. "Why I'm, i playing this?" and warn you i really wanted to kill nazis but even that didn't feel fun.

Skyward Sword had 3 dungeons that I would consider among the best in the series. A couple of the boss fights were really cool, too. I also thought the art/aesthetic of the game looks great and has aged very well, similar to WW.

Afterfall: Insanity

Positive comment about game: It ended.

Even though I should have stopped playing it, it was back when I had a compulsion to finish any game I started no matter how terrible it was.

Tlou: well it uh.... Story? No.. Uh... Gameplay is... linear....? No that's not right... Hmmmm.

Well great setting!

Chumbucket's dialog is very well written and performed in Mad Max. It also has beautiful alpha effects.

I appreciate that Mass Effect 3 had good intentions when giving the player the option to pursue a gay male relationship. The actual progression was a bit stilted in comparison to the obvious main romance choices, but baby steps...

It's abundantly clear that Dying Light was a labor of love for Techland. It shows in so, so many ways.

Sorry, but I just don't think it's a good game compared to Dark Souls. I'm not attempting to be edgy.

DmC: Devil May Cry is not the worst game in the series, despite its every effort to dump all over the DMC legacy. Eventually, in the Definitive Edition, the gameplay was dragged against its will to somewhere within binocular-viewing distance of DMC3 and 4's genre-defining combat standards.

Bioshock Infinite reminded me I own other games I can play afterwards.

...it has nice graphics.

Super Smash Bros 4: Has Little Mac

Skyward Sword: Has nice music

I am going to try to do this as earnestly as possible...

Suikoden IV spends a lot of time developing the character of Snow. In the end, I think the game does a pretty great job of taking you down the path of a very weak person who isn't genuinely awful at his core. It was interesting. The execution wasn't perfect, but it was still fun to see.

Mortal Kombat X has the best single player content on offer. The series has really set the standard for single player content. There is real value in that package. Moreover, the stages are beautifully crafted. Lastly, the variation system is brilliant and should be stolen by everyone.

Final Fantasy XII has nice music.

believe me, I really tried to like that game. Solely responsible for lowering FF as my favourite game series long before 13 ever arrived.

Pouncing on a guard by surprise and stabbing him in Assassin's Creed felt satisfying the first three times or so. Besides that it's a pretty shallow experience.

Actually, I hated that I was so quick to buy something on a whim more than I hate the games tbh but this is not the thread for this.
