Considering Kamiya's involved, it's bound to be decent at the very least.

That's pretty much my feeling, even if nothing in-game's been shown yet I don't really doubt him at all when it comes to good action games.

Platinum games = Instant Buy. Glad MS brought the games. 2015 will be a good year for multi-console owners.

That doesn't really seem like something a person who "accepts the games are for a different type of player" would do. Seems a bit disingenuous.

I can't decide if I want to like this game or not. The game has potential, but the main character was so obnoxious with his shit eating grin and designer headphones it's hard to take it seriously. Then again, maybe the game isn't meant to be taken too serious. I really need to see gameplay before making a decision on this.

Nice to see MS moneyhatting a P* this game, my interest in next gen has risen substantially. Never played a P* game that I didn't like. (the trailer was a bit meh tbh)
Hopefully this game will go someway to curb the port beggars, If you are a P* fan you must accept that games will be exclusive to different systems as this isn't some new thing as half of P*'s last gen titles were exclusives on the Wii & DS, plus Bayo 1 might as well be a 360 exclusive.
The quicker ppl accept that fact the sooner they can move on and start to look at each new game as a blessing. Hopefully Sony will fund a P* game soon I'll have to make some tough choices between buying the X1 or PS4, atm the X1 is way ahead gameswise. Sony has already shot themselves in the foot imo, cutting back on their midtier studios like Studio Liverpool and focussing on cinematic games has made the PS4 a whole lot less appealing imo

The world needs more dragon games, between this and Crimson Dragon, MS is making the XB1 a dragon lover's 1st choice.

The idea of it being an ambitious type of game is actually promising with a developer like P* attached. You know that the ambition isn't going to leave the gameplay wanting, and that they'll probably deliver on all fronts.
And I only just now realised that Scalebound is probably referring to dragon scales, and not scale as in size.

I'd have to see how game actually plays like. I wasn't all that into W101 despite otherwise being a Platinum fan.
What is unlikeable about him? I loved how he was all scared like you'd expect him to do, and then he goes like "naaah, this is a Kamiya game"
and then shit gets realer and realer until it gets to its realest.

It'll be interesting to see how this turns out. Could be great. But I get the feeling that Platinum may just be taking Microsoft's money and delivering a b-tier title. Will be very interesting if Nintendo shows a third Platinum title tomorrow, which would almost certainly confirm my suspicions about Scalebound.
I wish the trailer made some effort to show what the actual gameplay will be like. Will it focus on sword-and-bow combat, or flying dragons around? Maybe both?
The main character is pretty unappealing, but there's a good chance you just create your own character, Monster Hunter style. I need to know more about this game before I can form any kind of opinion about it.
