Sorry for the OT but craigslist is disgusting.

People solicit sex on there? Crazy.

OP:

You got scammed. Never meet strangers at ur place.

Easily replicated money FTL. When will countries learn to replace their terrible paper currency with harder to forge varieties?
It is hard to forge our money, most people are to lazy to check though. For anything more then $1, you have the watermark, the security tape, the color changing ink for the number in the lower right, the small random red and blue fibers in the bill when looked upon closely, and the security pens and UV lights to check the material.

Even on older bills, your best bet to make sure its real is to get in good light and look for the small red and blue fibers.

Anything higher then $20 I will do a full check. For a $20, any bill I think may have a slight chance of being fake I just give as change to the asshole's who buy a $3 pack of cigarettes with at $50.

aaaaaaaaaa can't do math

call the police and give them all the information you have on the guy. Pretty sure they take counterfeiting very seriously

not worth the hassle.

There is no way to prove it was him and he could say that he got it as change.

It was only a $20 I don't plan to go apeshit over it.

Next time I'm gonna make sure I check my money. After all the online to real life transactions I've done I never thought I'd actually be duped.

so really you lost out on 15 bucks? :lol

i lost 500 on ebay to some fucker that had used a stolen credit card. still hurts. also i would just take that 20 and use it at ur nearest grocery store.

I once had a faked 50 DM bill (was larger then all others and the watermark looked wrong). Now the thing is if you bring it to the bank they just take it and you don't get real money for it. Being a poor student back then i spent it fur something. It's illegal but fuck it.

I think the crazier part of these stories is that you invite the people over to your house for the transaction.

I think you guys are overreacting a bit about inviting strangers to your house but maybe you guys live in some ghetto ass neighborhoods.

Besides I"m not some 10 year old girl and I'm rarely home alone, combined with the fact that I have a butcher knife handy and as a Chinese man who cooks I know how to use it well.

OOH, Are you hot? If you let total strangers come over, can I come too?
