Total worldwide shipments and digital sales for Scarlet Nexus have surpassed two million units, Bandai Namco announced.

Scarlet Nexus first launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on June 24, 2021 in Japan and June 25 worldwide.

Worldwide shipments and digital sales were last reported to have surpassed one million units in August 2022.

Btw, the Ultimate Edition is currently on sale on Steam and PSN (US region). On Xbox, it's the Standard Edition that's discounted, but you can buy the Season Pass separately at a reduced price and end up around the same total.

The Ultimate Edition has been available for like $10-15 for years, the Steam price is the usual "not a real sale" price they seem to do these days.

Only 2 million?
Game was great, I am still waiting for a new one.

Only bad thing I could list:
Playing the otherside / other Character was not that different IMO
2 million copies sold is pretty good for a new JRPG IP, I'd say. The real question is whether Bandai Namco is satisfied with that, considering a lot of those sales were probably at discounted prices… I do hope it gets a sequel though.

Code Vein did 3 Millions in 4 years (2023), was at 4 millions when Code Vein 2 was announced.

This one made 2 Millions in 5 years? Not sure what to expect from that information. I just hope they don't go the Code Vein 2 way if they do a sequel.

I beat this game way back on Series S Gamepass.

Scarlet Nexus is rather solid. The dialogues were whatever though, I skipped most of it. But the combat was surprisingly fun. Game ran very well on XSS.

I had a good time with Scarlet Nexus, I played both routes. Unfortunately the story gets kind of messy towards the end, and the interactions between the two sides are kind of weird/forced, that concept was not executed well.

Still hoping for a sequel, there is a lot of potential here.

Shame it didn't sell better, I really enjoyed it.
The story was some generic cookie cutter anime stuff, but the actual gameplay was really fun and I like the presentation too.

I'd have preferred a sequel to this (or a new Tales Of) instead of Code Vein 2

I wanted a Code Vein 2, but i'd gladly give up what we got for a Scarlet Nexus 2 instead. CV 2 sucked.

Still have this one on the backlog. At this rate I'll have to hire someone to play all my games for me. :goog_relieved:
