Many people have interpreted Kaz's recent statements and a post on GTPlanet as inferring to a GT5 release this year, but personally I don't think it'll happen since we did not see anything of real substance at E3 yet. Either way, we won't know and the rumours won't dissipate until TGS at the latest.

I'll post wherever I like thank you very much, and in fact I do like both series, GT is the only reason I spent $700 on a PS3 and I actually spent the hours grinding for the F2007 unlike most people who play it, so don't tell me what I do and don't like. IT'S A GREAT SERIES. The only difference is I make no qualms about which game actually provides the better simulation model and I am not going to put it on a gilded throne that it doesn't deserve like everyone else does around here.

Last years conference they said the PS video store would open in Europe in Q3 2009.

And I wouldn't expect it for every country, maybe start off with the PAL countries that vidzone is open to right now (UK, Ireland, Australia, Italy, France, Spain and Germany) and then expand later.

I expect the conference to be 2 hours and an hour for foods and drinks.

They'll show off Eyepet, more Eye stuff, maybe Eye Play and Eye Kinetic for PS3, more details about Wand, all the details about GT PSP (track, car list), PSN Cards for EU/PAL, maybe announce the PSP comic store and app store for EU/PAL and the last hour of the show will be all about GT5

This is what I'm really expecting to see. Apparantly it's dev-centric, so more polished, tuned wand games and applications will be the main highlight I believe.

Also, maybe GT5 since Europe is the target market for that game anyways.

Well, Sony do have leverage on MJ songs. They own the rights to the Off the Wall, Thriller and Bad albums. Given that they are a platform holder and Singstar is immensely popular, the companies with rights to his others songs would be foolish to turn down such a big opportunity.
I think it will come across fair to the public. Though it sounds cruel to say it, Michael Jackson's death is going to make Sony quite a bit of money from this.
