Dude ... just wear.. a condom..

"Oh, hold on baby, I have to go put liquid skin on the tip on my penis"
"... why don't you get a condom?"
"BABY THAT AINT NATURAL"

I'm cracking up at this 😂😭😂😭

My moms in her 60's and said she used the timing method during the time of free love. Never got pregnant. I think you just wait a week after your period is over? Seems legit

When I went to go buy it for my girlfriend from a local supermarket, the pharmacist there smiles and advised me, "You know that this won't work if you take it, right?"

Nothing like a little joke to relieve the stress of a possible unwanted pregnancy.

She shouldn't take two in a week. There are warnings about that. That will be very bad on her system. you didn't get it for her right?

On the flipside, one time when I bought condoms, I told the cashier, "Have a good weekend" to which she responded, "Oh, I know you will."

Little did she know I bought them to practice my stamina.

The first one was over a week ago, last Monday I think.

No, she said she would just get it at a CVS. I will look into it though, thanks.

I could envision a scenario of a guy slipping it to a girl or something. I didn't know it was available OTC in a drug store though.
I'm having difficulty envisioning a situation where this is practical or common. If this is a casual hook-up, chances are the woman doesn't want a baby out of it anyway. If it's a committed thing, is the dude gonna dose her every time they have sex?

Are dudes routinely hooking up with baby-hungry single ladies or something?

Wife once made me be the person to go and buy it and I was embarrassed the whole time. But hey, I didn't think it was any worse then picking up tampons for her.

Thankfully the Giant's (grocery) didn't give me crap.

Also the fact that it has to be taken twice. Once every 24 hours. Dude's have to have a pretty diabolical plan to get that to work.

I realize this is probably the reason, but I could buy it over the counter at a CVS or any other place. It would just cost more money.
But what? Your school has a different policy. Both policies seem reasonable. There is no medical indication for a man to be taking Plan B. Hence, there is no reason for him to take the medication. If your girl was interested in saving money, she would have gone to the school.

You can take both pills at the same time. It's just as effective.

Another trick I read about is to put mayonnaise on your penis about 30 min before the act. By that time it will have formed a protective skin. Also condoms are plastic but not recyclable. Many cities have plastic bag bans.

I imagine it is just as likely as a girl lying about being on the pill. Sure it happens but I doubt it is common, and a person willing to do that could easily obtain the pill another way.

well the school should go take that up with the fda

Seems they have it wrong then, but to be honest, as a woman it makes me kind of eh that it is that easy for a guy to pick up. I guess I'm just more familiar with places denying women Plan B because of religious reasons than who they allow to get it.

Can I ask why?

To the people saying this I imagine that there are just as many men who would malicious my use Plan B as women who would lie about being on the pill.

one is about taking a pill and the other is about not taking a pill.

Can I ask why?

Just a personal uneasiness about easy access for bad guys who want a quick, one-sided way out of responsibility or are happy to provide it to others for a price. Sure you could argue that some women may skip the pill to try and get pregnant, but it's their own body they'd be putting up. With the pill, it'd be the woman's risk as well, though. It's an unfounded fear judging by the lack of cases I've heard (not that I've been scouring the news for this), but the potential for abuse just seems very plausible as does accidental misuse; like you getting a second dose of something potentially harmful for someone else and not being aware that it's harmful for her because she's not present to answer the pharmacist's questions.

Most men have pre ejaculate that contains semen even before they climax. You can get a girl pregnant even if you pull out. Wrap it up.

No. Pre-ejaculate only contains semen if you've had sex multiple times in a short time span and this is due to semen already being stuck in your urethra. Give it some time and urinate, you're fine. (Though I agree, you should always wear a condom) It's pretty difficult to get a girl pregnant anyway. Unless you have some sort of super human sperm, if she's no ovulating...she's not getting pregnant.

Wife once made me be the person to go and buy it and I was embarrassed the whole time. But hey, I didn't think it was any worse then picking up tampons for her.

Man up, it isn't that difficult or embarrassing to go buy something. You're talking to someone that you will likely never see again and if they do happen to take issue...fuck 'em. What you do isn't any of their business.

This is pretty bullshit. So we just automatically assume that all men are on some pregnancy-killing rampage by default? And people are okay with that? Kind of insulting if you ask me.

Why on earth would they give this to a man? That is just asking for trouble, I know I have a couple women that are skeletons in my closet, that I would consider slipping one in their orange juice just to be safe. I am kidding I would never slip someone a drug, but if a women want's the drug she should go get it herself.

This is what I'm thinking.

I understand the posters asking "why is this a big deal?", but, well, it seems pretty stupid to me. It's an over the counter drug, it's none of store's business.

Intended or not, they're effectively making it more difficult for women to get birth control. I realize in this case the girl went and got a pill herself, but what if she'd been too embarrassed, for whatever reason? Or, what if she'd been too busy? (yes, being "busy" is a terrible reason to not get birth control, but people don't always make the best choices.)

Next you'll be saying men should be banned from buying tampons and pads...

I'm just sitting here thinking that if she's a big enough girl to fuck, she's probably a big enough girl to go get the pills herself (despite getting them the week prior). Shit happens. Go get them and move on with your life. Who cares what anyone there thinks.

Ok, this has to stop.
Seriously what's up with sexEd in the US?

?

Pulling out is actually pretty effective. Average is about 78%. It actually goes way fucking higher if the person does it correctly. I don't know how people fuck up pulling out, but I guess some people don't know how to anticipate their orgasms. Seems weird to me, but whatever.

Source.

I'm pretty sure kids are still taught that pregnancy is damn near a certain thing if you have unprotected sex where in reality it's only a single digit percentage during the best of windows.

She doesn't need to take a plan b because the condom broke unless the damn thing was full of cum....

It is cause for immediate revoke of your man card. As this is an over the counter drug and easily accessible I guess they should have given it to him. That being said I have no issue with them expecting a women to pick it up herself.

So you're saying that being a considerate partner is not manly?

Pulled out for 16 years. No babies here. ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

I'm probabably sterile. 😕😕

Buying stuff for your partner revokes your "man card"? Lol

Reminds me back in my Walmart days, I had a lady ask me if we had it in stock and instantly new the price to the cent. Was a little put off by that. I mean, what if it was on Rollback or something?

To each their own, but this is just something my wife has never and would never ask me to do. I'm sure she would consider it as degrading as I do. It would be incredible inconsiderate of her to ask me to do that. I'm very comfortable in my believe that some things are just women's business.

There's a huge irony here; you sound like a little boy.

I guess we are a little old school with our male/female roles. My wife would never take my son to a hairdresser. Guys go to a barber women buy their own feminine products. Its not really that big a deal. It was just a crack about your man card, and its not a real thing, if you buy your wife her feminine products I don't actually believe it makes you less of a man.

I just looked it up, and apparently they have a one-dose one now. I also remembered that in the past, you had to take two pretty large pills with fairly strict timing (which would make "slipping a mickey" nonsensical), but I guess that's no longer the case.

wait you were serious about "man-card revoked"?

smh

I assumed at least a little bit of joking; but then you described grabbing tampons at a store as "degrading." That's pretty weird lol.
