Screenshots that perfectly sum up the game

"Do you want to jump down this hole? You can't see the ground below. YES/NO"

NOOOOOOO, I don't want to jump down this super creepy hole, WHY WOULD I?!!! FUCK THIS

I think better screenshots to represent WoW, other than crazy interfaces that i'm sure only a small, although ridiculous, amount of players use... would be this. No matter your faction, people are crazy about mammoths. And when a huge event like the pre-Cataclysm happen where everyone gather up in the same spot for "lols"... you get this :

Huge pictures, so i put links for poor folks using a low resolution. :P

It's the very first fight in the game with two party members in trouble of dying.

Hmm don't remember that. But then, Wizardry 8 was a cakewalk compared to my first time playing Bane of the Cosmic Forge :lol I remember that a lot, lot more vividly.

Here are my contributions:

People who post screen shots without the name of the game are mother fuckers. Not everyone knows every game in existence.
So if you post a screen shot without a name, you are a mother fucker.

Holy shit. Holy shit. :lol :lol

edit: In response to that Resistance 2 shot is taken during a boss fight on a raised platform where you are focused on killing a fucking spider boss thing intent on killing you. So, obviously under the time constraints Insomniac decided to give their efforts towards something that you were actually meant to be paying attention towards instead of other things that would only be looked at if you were out of the(ir) element.

...

Which is exactly why that screenshot is a microcosm of everything wrong with Resistance 2.

These do not sum up the games at all, i think some of you guys are missing the point.

They show no mechanics, no nothing, you cant even tell the genre by those screenshots.

Edit: i could be misunderstanding the point of the thread though

I don't know about you, but that picture clearly sums up the game perfectly, at least for me. Tales of Vesperia was more about a consolidated group of heroes (i.e. The Brave Vesperia) than about saving the world from catastrophe or a malicious villain. Sure, the image doesn't showcase any gameplay at all, but if you eventually don't like any of the characters, then chances you aren't going to see the game until the end, no matter how good/bad the gameplay is. After all, Tales games are known for their characterization than the actual narrative.
