NSMB should not be on that list if they are including all of Mario's ventures

The original SMB ahead of SMW? SMB is an iconic game, but SMW was a much better game overall. No PM or PM: TTYD?

At least they aren't delusional enough to think that SMK was the best Mario Kart game.

As for #1, I can accept that. I personally like SMW better, but either one would be fine at #1.

Before watching it, I'll just say that Dr. Mario and Super Smash Bros. shouldn't on that list. Dr. Mario for quality reasons, SSB because, seriously, it's not a Mario game. Even if it was, SSBM should have gotten the nod.

Will say more after watching it.


Edit: Oh. It was SSBM. Okay then.
Edit 2: To clarify, I like Dr. Mario, but not as much as any of the Mario platformers, nor most of the Mario RPGs.

Following that logic, Yoshi's Island deserves to be in. Yeah, I know you can only control him in a few levels, but still. That's more playing as him than in Dr. Mario, frankly, unless manipulating vitamins really counts.

Pretty much. Smash Bros. is more of a Kirby game than a Mario game. Anyone who's played Kirby Super Star probably knows what I'm talking about.
