Second Extinction Xbox Announcement Trailer

It will give me a break from killing zombies so I am really interested in this game! lol nothing like doing some co op mindless killing lol

Thanks for the heads up. I just signed up my family for the PC beta. Initially, I didn't realize you have to recruit 1 person to get into the beta. Kind of a pain in the ass to do it for 4 accounts, but whatever. I'm building piecemeal rigs for each of my kids right now based on a bunch of RX 470 4GB cards I picked up on the cheap from miners dumping them over the past month. This should be a pretty awesome game to play together.

Not confirmed and on their forums, they onyl mention Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC as being the development platforms

Looks interesting but nothing for me. The best thing to come from next-gen so far, at least for me, is how great the image quality finally is in trailers...
 
It looks nice but reminds me of those endless asset flip 'wave' based games you get on Steam, just with nicer assets.

Really hoping Second Extinction can be played solo but thus far, it doesn't appear that you can. :(
 
They confirmed that you can play solo but it's harder. I'm happy now. Looking forward to playing the game. Hoping it releases when the consoles launch!!!
 
Can't wait to play this. I wish they told us more about the classes etc. Gives me some Evolve-like vibes, but being PVE will be far easier to balance.
 
I like dinosaurs and I'm willing to bet I'll like killing them even more!

Game looks much better in recent trailers than when it was first shown.
 
Something I wish these games were better at is how long the bodies stay on the ground. Child me never would have thought in 2020 that bodies and gibs would have the same permanence as a n64 game.
 
I think PS5 has more announced "big bangers", but there's a lot of these smaller games coming to XBox next gen that have me excited (this, Falconeer, 12 Minutes).
 
Game is in Early Access and obviously not for everyone. If you like L4D, you'll probably like this. However it appears playing solo just doesn't have that much going for it ATM.
 
Oh it seems the reception is actually kinda good. I didn't really expect that.
But it's going to require quite a few solid patches to be great.
