I love some of the Pininfarina designs.

Everyone I know seems to love the Subaru Impreza. -edit- Better Pic

I am definately a fan of the Mustang. Any model as long as it is Red with White racing stripes.

Not a fan of VW, but the W12 Nardò has a special place in my heart.

I usually don't hate on Imprezas, even though I'm more of a Evo fan, but this one looks like it hit a wall.

@jgminto : What's this Impreza you posted ?
I like that they went back to a Sedan on Impreza.

For some reason, I think the subtle change made to the Mustang in style were nailed by the Ford design team. I really prefer the new look.

Now let's do it US style...

MUSCLE!

Yeah, I just posted pictures of a Vauxhall Chevette. I don't give a fuck.

Why is it so hard to produce another cheap, light rear wheel drive coupe?

perfect-toyota-sprinter-trueno-ae86_akashi-bridge.jpg

They ruined the FT-86 with the second version and considering the price it was never a real successor.

The front of the competitizione looks even better.

I actually watched a bunch of Initial D recently. Pretty damn funny, and I hate myself for it but the music is so ludicrous.

As for Subarus, this is my favorite Impreza. (22b)

I don't think anyone can really make the claim that Subaru has ever put out an Impreza with anything more than "serviceable" styling. At best they're quirky (yay bugeye!), at worst they're... well anything from the last 6 years from them. Doesn't belong in thread, sorry.

race cars. street cars. rat rods. brodozers. cafe racers. fixies. as long as it's built with purpose and care, even if that purpose is to look ridiculous.

so a car will never hit the track but still love it? no point in pretending it's a race car, so might as well go the opposite way.

things i don't like:
black wheels: what's the point of making your wheels look like cheapo stealies from 20ft away
eco modding: good intentions, but haven't seen anything that looks good yet.

FUCKING THIS. I feel the same way.

Just so everyone here knows where im coming from.... I moderate VADriven.com, have been for about 2 years now, been a member since its creation. I also live in a high Military demographic area, Hampton Roads Virginia. Because of Military guys coming and going the community here has grown to love just about everything. Within 2hr drives of this area we have drags strips and Auto cross courses and drifting courses. Its all just normal for me to see the shit i post and i love it.

'68 Porsche 909 Bergspyder. It was built for hillclimbs and has a 2.0L flat-8 making 275 horsepower. The car was a tube-frame with composite body and weighed in at 850 pounds. The rear spoilers were cockpit-adjustable and one of the first applications of active aerodynamics.

This one is my favourite, my missus literally had to peel me off one at Le Mans...

My childhood hero.

I was lucky enough to be at Le Mans in 88 and 89, some amazing cars and the racing was some of the best I have seen :)

One of my personal favs is the Renault Alpine A110, such a pretty little car and is on my list come the lottery win

Edit: I need to get my pics from Le Mans Classic on here

I know the front is kinda based on the GTbyCitroen, but the Metropolis looks a bit like a stretched Evo X. Not that this is a bad thing, I mean, it's really beautiful. And terrifying. But mostly beautiful.

G Rom said:
This Metropolis concept looks awesome. Citroën should replace the current C6 with something like that, it would look a lot less boring. :)

I think there was a rumor that the Metropolis would enter production, but would be larger than the C6. (So, a real big Citroen.)

Don't like the way they fit those tyres, but I do love E46 M3's.

Do you know why people Stretch tires?

EDIT: Actually Nissan & BMW have been as of late stretching tires for their cars.

Mainly to get around rules that prevented rubber being outside the fender of the car. So to run wide wheels they stretched the tyres, instead of tubbing the frame. It's an aesthetic choice I simply don't like the look of.

Yeop, When lowering a car sometimes the desired width of the tire wont work. Thinner tire it is. Also some people Roll the inner fenders.

My Best Friend Mike Davidson was one of the Drivers for this car at the Rolex 24hrs @ Daytona this year. Fucking awesome event.

All the cars in the race.

P.S. Funky, you're gonna need at last 295mm tires in the rear. Should look sick.
We'll be cutting out a good deal of quarter panel and fender for the bolt-on front and rear flares. I should have enough tire clearance in the rear to run 305s/315s; front should fit 275s.

Oh, and it's an LS2. A high compression NA LS7 would have been excellent, but that just wasn't realistic for my budget when the project began. :)

It's an unofficial render, I believe. Here, have a 'proper' Ferrari, the 288GTO:

Agreed. So hot and so rare. A powerful combination. I've just discovered the Rossi SixtySix, it's a C6 Vette with one hell of a bodykit....

Ferrari why can't you make beautiful, exciting sportscars anymore?

Someone needs to go to Maranello, fire all the aero. engineers and replace them with stylists. I care not for your downforce, give me pretty shapes!

Edit: Needs more Alfa Romeo Montreal!

Had a cage in it and a ton of brake dust all over the wheels, I reckon it gets thoroughly thrashed. Awesome. Edit: Fuck me iPhone pictures are big.

Pretty much the last of the serious Subaru's as far as performance goes. Since then they've gotten heavier and less 'hardcore.' Still a great car but the extra weight and more focus on refined ride quality has kind of killed off their cult following.

My father still has one of the original 400 STi Ver 5 Type R's that were officially brought into Australia, less than 40,000km's on it, completely stock standard, not a single alteration (still rocks the Tape deck and no CD player, so yeh 100% un-molested in any way shape or form). Unfortunately all 22B's were unavailable.

Another of my fav Subies was the Elektra.

fuj_car_impreza_wrx_trseof.jpg

I believe they only released 100 of these. They had a revised intake and ECU with a power increase of approx 20kw from memory.

I've never liked a Maserati, but I'll be damned if the one in the OP wasn't one of the finest concept cars I've seen yet.

I have tons of dream cars, was always a car nut since I was a kid, but I'm gonna hit the sack now and post them another time.
