and introduce a multiverse for Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Marvel Studios did it with insane crossovers like Spider-Man No Way Home and Doctor Strange into the Multiverse. Seeing three Spider-Man in a movie invoked so much nostalgia and a callback for the numerous iterations before it. Therefore appreciating the past and acknowledging the existence of those storylines.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles did it with the movie "Turtles Forever".
DC attempted the same thing with Barry Allen meeting an alternate version of Barry Allen.
I want SEGA to go full-on Sonic multiverse and tap and reach every single character past and present in a video game.
They did it with Sonic Generations, but I feel that their reach could be on the quality and ambition of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Put all the Sonic characters so far from the comics, tv series, games, etc in one game.
Each gamer has their favorite take on which Sonic character interpretation they prefer, some prefer the Original Sonic, the Sonic Boom, Sonic, etc.
There are characters that made one-time appearances and were never seen again.
Just having one game that allows one to play as those skins and characters would be bloody amazing.
But SEGA keeps on putting mediocre crap-looking games like Sonic Frontiers.
When will we get someone in a director position of power like Masahiro Sakurai to head the franchise series and just put everything into it and all the hype into one game.
These companies completely fail at creating hype, if anything they create more negative criticism.
Honestly, we need more ambitious game directors to helm franchises than stupid fucking suites.
