Sega Publishing sale on XBL

So I beat Renegade Ops. Not because it's short, but because it is downright delightful. Highly, highly recommended. Don't miss this!

I'm very happy with Daytona USA - the XBLA conversion is leaps and bounds better than the Saturn port. It's complete with challenges, time trial and karaoke mode which is good for laughs. This release has a lot of charm and I feel kinda bad only paying $5 for it.

Space Channel 5 Pt 2 is my first exposure to the series and I enjoy its craziness even if it doesn't feel as responsive as most rhythm games. But it is the funniest rhythm game I've played and that's saying a lot.

Is Guardian Heroes still worth it if I just plan on playing single-player?

Most definitely. Five playable characters, multiple paths/endings/difficulties, two modes (original/remix) with tons of differences between them.
The battle mode is lots of fun to mess with as well. A huge roster of playable characters, support for up to 12 combatants, infinite and chaotic possibilities.

It's $2. You shouldn't be questioning this at all. A game that's easily worth it at the $10 it normally goes for.

Should I skip Space Channel 5: Part 2?

Depends. If you just want it then no. If you want that, some fishing, taxi rides & a blue blur adventure on disk for not much more than that then get the Dreamcast Collection instead.

A word of warning though, if you choose the Dreamcast Collection then buy SA1 + DLC now. For some reason the version on the Collection doesn't work as it should with glitched achievements and such.

Either or, some face time with Ulala is something worth this price point.

I might just wait on it then.

Whoops! Also I meant Sonic Generations instead of Sonic Colors.

Does that change anything?

I kinda want Final Showdown...How is the online since no one near me likes VF?

Downloaded Guardian Heroes since it was so cheap, but I was kind of assuming it was one of Treasure's critically praised but ultimately kinda boring games. Holy hell, was I wrong. Guardian Heroes is a blast, maybe the sidescrolling beat-em-up I've ever played. I'm sure there's a lot of depth to it, but really I just love the fast pace of beating the crap out of things. And the other modes are totally insane.

Yeah its one of the best, and the soundtrack really drives it home.

I dont think i've ever played a boring Treasure game though, aside from maybe Wario World. Most of their original stuff is pretty high action.

For a not-Capcom, not-retail release, it's pretty good! Lots of fresh meat because of the sale, too. Leave Ranked on quick match in "Worldwide" filter and you'll wait like 10 seconds for a match.

So somewhat unrelated question. After buying Guardian Heroes I'm sitting with 1180 MSP, 20 short I getting a $15 game like Radiant Silvergun. Is there any way to buy a small amount of points, or am I boned?
