Still at 1% after six minutes

I love you xbox live
i know
i had COD4 BETA and Bioshock demo and Gears Demo at 14% before i gave up on them and went out and bought, gears, bio, saints row and table tennis.
I played Viva Pinata for 3hrs on Sat night and in that 3 hrs it downloaded all the demos plus NHL08 demo. SON OF A BITCH!

Woooooah cool!

Hope there is a PS3 demo soon too, as not sure which version to buy - PS3 is lead platform for once so might be superior (despite lack of rumble).

Ahhhh..was about to hit the sack..now i cant lol, thx for the heads up, cant wait to take this baby for a spin in a few minutes

I'm so tyred of racing games. They tend to accelerate my need to purchase a steering wheel.

Nah not rally, cant wait to tune up my skills.

Now gimme a PSN demo please SEGA.

Can somebody post some impressions please. This is on my "to buy list" atm.

The music sucks ass.

It's always one way or the other with SEGA games these days. Either it is awesome (Phantasy Star, Shenmue) or terrible (Virtua Tennis, Sonics in the last 10 years).

Not up on the Aussie Marketplace............ :'( GAF makes me cry.

*edit* sweet, it just turned up. GAF is back in my good books.

Controls suck ass in outside the car view, the camera is too low in first person view, but its just right in the hood view. Shit gets harder to control as the race goes on, so the deformation does in fact change gameplay. I just wish the music wasn't so bad.

Oh yeah, GAME OVER YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH is still in it, albeit a little toned down for some reason.

66% btw if this game was dev'd on ps3 as the lead why are we seeing it on XBL first? :lol mad world. all around me are familiar faces, worn out places, worn out places....

If ever a game needs 60fps its this one

I just wish they would port Initial D 4th stage to 360 so I could get my real Sega Rally 1 Saturn sequel.

man..i dont know, im not feeling it. It feels like a low budget title, the graphics definately dont impress me what so ever.. call me crazy but the visuals do not impress me what so ever.

The controls.. too loose, way too loose..they dont feel right, infact the entire game dont feel like sega rally.

I feel like touching myself just thinking about a next-gen Initial D. PS3 Wangan Midnight was such a letdown. :(

Yeah, defo.

If they ever make a new Daytona, and they should, that better not be fucking 30fps! Or I'll personally pay a visit to SEGA myself. They will be scared.

OK, got it running. Observations:

- Track deformation is VERY cool and more obvious than Motorstorm, probably because it's done in actual geometry as opposed to a texture pass. It's also a lot easier to see if you're in bumper-cam mode.
- Plays well with the wheel. Nice and rumbly all the time and driving through sand feels particularly nice.
- Graphics are quite good, lush and colorful like it should be. I REALLY wish this was at 60fps though :/ I wonder if the deformation is what's holding frame rate back.
- The music sucks, just drop in your Sega Rally custom soundtrack.
- Why are they using Granny3D for animation? Bizarre.

All in all it's pretty good, but I think I'd still be more interested in DiRT.

BTW, if this team was gonna do a new Daytona and promised 60fps for it, I'd be pretty excited.

Sega Rally interests me waaaay more than Dirt soley due the former having split screen. Up to 4 players I think.

Well.. with a bit more time, the controls do seem to be ok .. they really feel loose at first but after a few races, you get the feel for them.

But the visuals, they look bland and un-intresting.. very generic feel to them, not impressive what so ever.

The presentation gives off a very low budget feel too.. they could of atleast made the main menu screen feel like arcade game or something.. but it just feels really low budget, i dont know.. it dont feel right though.

i will definately wait for gamerankings.com to produce an average score before i look into buying this. I had high hopes for it, to be fair, the game is still in development so who knows but personally .. revo isnt look so hot after all.

the music kills it. i'm gonna add the rally soundtrack to my drive in the morning so that will help. although it feels like rally the problem is that its not as fast as the old rallys. maybe it gets faster.
