The impressions I've read so far made this sound like it wasn't going to be that graphically impressive, but I think it looks pretty good so far. Not really much to go on, but nothing about it makes me cringe.

graphics look okay - art looks VERY NICE -

i am a sucker for Seiken Densetsu / Mana / Final Fantasy ADVENTURE games, so this will be a must buy for me, provided it comes out over here.......

Oh C'mon, you're the one that needs to take the goggles off... that looks like a Dreamcast or first or second gen PS2 game.

That does NOT look good.

Aside from the vivid coloring and the rabite, those screens don't really make me think Mana. In fact, I can safely say that if it wasn't for the fact that it is a Mana game, I would have just kindly moved on.

I loved Secret of Mana, and I even completed Legend of Mana (and FFA GBA countless times) but something doesn't sit right with me. It is early, and it's only a few screens, but something's weird.

I'm hoping the game will be great.

right now, i just realized that i've been waiting for this game since fucking 1995

unfortunatley, there's probably no way it'll live up to my expectations. or if it does, then it'd probably be out of some fan boy-driven denial.

Eh? What's with the bitching? The game looks fine - not a first or second gen PS2 game. Sheesh.

I love the vivid palette and what not. Rabite FTW!

I thought Radiata looked horrible when I first saw it and that turned out to be a nice looking game. It was similar with this Mana title. The first scans were awful but the recent screenshots have been very promising.

I have always been fond of the colourful art seen in the mana series. I actually enjoyed playing SOM, and an emulated SD3 more than the snes FF games. SD3 was particularly pretty for a snes game.

I think this is a game that has to be seen in motion to give a fair description of the graphics.

Doesn't amaze technically, but it definately captures the art style of the previous installments in a 3D game, and for a Mana game that's what really matters for the visuals.

Coming off of Radiata Stories, I think this game looks great. (Similiar art style and direction, and I thought that game looked very pretty - this is an enhanced version)

But I guess it's an aesthetic preferrence, so so many people - including IGN - say it looks bland and not up-to-par.

However, I think it looks fantastic and can't wait for it.

Wait, what? I thought Legend of Mana was technically Seiken Densetsu 4? Or was it never considered a part of the official series?

Nope. It's always been considered a "gaiden" game or spinoff. Same might go for Children of Mana actually, though there's been some rumors that it might in fact be a SD2 remake too.

That's actually a good question.

And this looks like no Mana; it looks like a game recycled from Code Age Commanders, except...maybe not even that good.

Art's fine, but the graphics are just decent to pretty good ...
However, is it just me...or from all the screenshots I've seen (not just these), it just doesn't look that interesting of a game? =\
