Sequels you REALLY want to see made?

Kill Bill 3, new Star Wars movies that don't suck, more LOTR, Constantine 2. Also, though they aren't sequels, someone needs to make a Sandman and/or Lucifer series that does justice to each of the story arcs. Wasn't Gaiman developing a Death film or something?

I really would like to see Star Wars not tied to Lucas. I would like to see it under different director interpretations sorta like Mission Impossible.

Overall, I prefer original stories over sequels or familiar stories with different characters.

Comic book movies are the possible exception to this where I want continuing stories using the same actors.

Evil Dead 4

A Hellraiser that erases from HR4 onwards and picks up from HR3.

Clone Wars is the closest thing you'll get and it's pretty good.

I would actually like to see a Big Lebowski sequel, not so much for plot reasons, but to see where those characters are 15 years down the line. It could be great if approached with the right intentions.

I can't believe this film bombed so spectacularly.

I wanna see him do Hamlet again!

It hurts! :(

It also hurts that you guys didn't get the chance to make a PS3/360 version of the game. If ANY movie / licensed game cried out for crazy HD visuals Speed Racer was it. The game play of the Wii/PS2 versions was solid, but man - the visuals and lack of film score really left me cold.

I thought the guys did a solid job of the visuals given platforms and relatively short timeframe we had to make the game (about 9.5 months). Some very cool effects in there though if I do say so myself. We were a bit handicapped in that we had to wrap the game months before the film was finalised, and we had to pull out the cinematic replays, some effects, and video footage at the very last minute (which was very demoralising) for reasons I can't go into.

Very happy with how the game turned out overall though, and very happy it just keeps selling and selling.

Why was the film score not used in game? Licensing issues or some such?

Hmmm my memory is a bit sketchy on that. I believe it was a combination of licensing, timing, and "don't let the videogame disrupt the film production" issues.

Given we were kind of in the dark on that too, Winifred Philips who did the game soundtrack did a good job I thought.

It does and it doesnt. It was so damn near perfect I want more, but I also dont want a sequel to mess with that perfection. So torn.
Yeah, that's about how I feel as well. Really one of my absolute favorite movies.

Undercover Brother
Contact
Rush Hour 3
Serenity
The Incredibles
Galaxy Quest
True Lies
Kick Ass
2010
Office Space (though I'm sure they'll screw it up)
Unbreakable

If Linklater, Hawke, and Delpy are up for it I'd love to see more of Jesse and Celine in a sequel to Before Sunset.

THIS an Master and Commander are the only good ideas so far. Im sure the former will actually happen though. They can wait 5 years, 10 years, its still going to be amazing.

No worries.

I didn't mean to sound down on what you guys created in the game visuals, for the Wii/PS2 they were quite good; but as someone that drove 150 miles to watch the movie a second time in IMAX - I wanted more. :D

oh man, this too.

There's plenty of source material in that series of books to draw from. If Russell Crowe is on board they really should do it.

Another "sequel" - we need more stories from Herbert's Dune universe. Not yet another remake of Dune, though. But something that carries over the look and feel of David Lynch's version, but minus the cheese. No Sting in metal underwear.

I actually don't want to see another movie with Jessie and Celine; the ending of Before Sunset is so perfect and leaves so much open that I feel like anything more will just start to veer into contrivance.

Demolition Man 2
Rumble in the Bronx 2
Independence Day 2
Friday 4 (sequel to Friday after next)
Blood Sport 2 (yes I know there were some shitty sequels without Van Damme)
Inception 2
Fist of the Northstar 2 (live action sequel)

How about a real sequel to the Boondock Saints, not the piece of shit that was "All Saint's Day." Seriously, the Saints
take out a mob boss in open court, give a big dramatic manifesto speech, and then all of a sudden they're back in fucking Ireland doing jack shit?
