it's not even really a promotion of cancel culture, it's more about the fundamental basics of individuals being able to be consistent in reason. if someone with that ideology has no issue at all with removing people then when that person falls victim to their own rules they should be appropriately punished and not this wildly uneven application of punishment. Think about if a person cannot even follow the rules they've set forth what chance at all is there they'd follow the rules set forth by others.
