Sethbling Injects Playable Flappy Bird Code into Super Mario World

This is cool but didn't they already do this at AGDQ? LAst year, they injected code to play pong and snake, and then this year they injected code to play SMB in Super Mario World.

Injecting code isn't a new thing. He did it all by hand, so to speak, with an SNES controller. Other attempts used automated means of injecting code.

Huh, I was still under the impression that it was done by hand before. Maybe it was just executing the code that was done by hand.

"This is the first time a human has ever completed this kind of exploit."
I don't know if that's suppose to mean it originated from his own hand-inputs or if it's simply adapted from a TAS, which is why I'm confused.

It's adapted of course, with changes to make it easier (or even possible) to do by hand.

This is beyond belief when it comes to executing assembly in a game. I thought it was nuts to do a 151 pokemon run for pokemon blue at agdq. But this is writing a simple, yet stupid, game using SMW.... Nintendo games are pretty glitchy but you have to go out of your way to exploit them and they don't break the casual game. The way they do break the game though is beyond fathoming though...

Bumping this in amazement. He wrote the damn flappy bird game using pixel perfect jumps and button presses. This is nothing short of incredible.

Just found this on YouTube. Quite possibly the most awesome thing I've ever witnessed someone do with a video game. Well, any game except Minecraft maybe.
