Don't know how interested some of you guys would be in this, but I figured that I'd pass it along anyway.

Kevin from GameQuestDirect e-mailed me last week, and asked me to share this with anyone that'd be interested.

To celebrate the March 8th launch of Shadow Hearts 3, GameQuestDirect will be re-releasing reprints of the original Shadow Hearts. Right now it still shows backordered, but he assured me that copies will be available come Monday, they were just having troubles with their website.

WHY

...is what I was about to ask, but now I see that new copies go for $50+ on eBay. It's not remotely rare, and they gave the thing away for free with preorders of SH:C, so...clearly, people are dumb, and GQD see an opportunity to capitalize on that.

Yes. I'm pretty much couldn't find the first Shadow Hearts anywere anymore. I want to play it before diving into part 2.

edit: Anyone know if there is anything different with the packaging? Is everything the same as the original? There is any GQD labels on the game and stuff is there?

I still have a sealed Shadow Hearts from the 2002/2003 Amazon sale. Think it was $5-10 shipped. Good to know that it was worth holding on to it for this long for the increased value.

I believe reprints for both PS1/2 are stickerless since no PS1/2 games manufactured today come with those stickers anymore.
