During the beta, I eventually regularly used Elf and bought
RB: Resurrect LB: Smoke LT: Teleport (in that order) just about every game.

I was the second-most resurrector in the beta with 2000+ resurrects

I mainly use Elf with LB: Teleport, RB: System Link or whatever it's called to get the better aiming, LT: Ressurection. It works out good for me because Elves self-heal. I have to use a tree if I go with anything else.
 
Ive been keeping Grenades. I find the to be fairly useful. My current setup is a Dwarf with Smart Link, Resurrection, and Grenades. Weapons are SMG and Shotgun. Im debating whether I should change out the grenades for smoke or not, its pretty useful but im not really the stealth type.
 
Anyone know if the voice chat for pc gamers works well with 360 users? My main concern is that I buy the pc version, then cant chat with my 360 buddies.
 
my build so far:

Elf: LT- Summon, LB- that aiming tech thing, RB- Resurrect, Weapon- Rifle

works out pretty well, I'm usually at the top of the leaderboard

If you're playing with 360 users, then you have live, and you'll be able to communicate just fine with 360 users. Just for reference, the mic on PC works just like it does on the 360. There is no "mic button" for pc users (for those used to using ventrillo and teamspeak).

Played some guys on Vista last night. They seemed to like it. Somebody with Vista needs to play with us tonight so I can get that brother with another mother achievement :lol
 
Just got finished playing thru the tutorial, really enjoyed what I saw so far, although I can't help but think that some sort of single player would be fun as well. The environments actually look really cool, so I am curious what some single player levels could have ended up like.

I am still pretty overwhelmed by the amount of stuff you can use/buy, I hope it is not too difficult to ease into the game when playing online

Man I am LOVING this game! I played all night last night, didn't go to bed and im so damn tired. I'll play some matches with GAF on saturday :)

Oh, and thoughts on the game: love it. It's completely overwhelming, but I love it. It seems like there are endless strategies, and that alone will form a pretty solid, but small, community. Why did MS put this out there to die?
 
Well there are already teams that just suck the fun out of the game. Played a game of nothing but trolls who would go to our base and camp with miniguns when we came in with the artifact, they'd gun us all down.

I wonder if smoke would counter that, ofcourse, one of you will die :lol

Runin with smoke, then katana their ass with CQC
 
Frag grenades work great on trolls, their skin hardens after the nade nukes their health bar. Hell if they were all clustered at your base a couple of Anti magic grenades would seriously screw with them too.

Headshot with a sniper rifle puts one down too. They're annoying but not horribly invincible.

Does a smoked dwarf drain magic in that form? That'd put a stop to them right quick :p

If a whole team goes troll, get the minion summon spell. Trolls don't move that fast, making them an easier target for a minion to attack.
 
I might get this tomorrow. I have SM3 somewhere in my room. Might as well trade it in while I can get good credit for it.

I was looking forward to Assassin's Creed , but I'm beginning to think the game will be totally dumb.
 
After playing the demo for a week or so I really loved the game and had to get it on day 1... after playing for a few hours last night... wow this game really exceeded my expectations even from the demo!

IMO (flame me if you want) this is the best FPS game to hit consoles in a looooooong time.

I'll be on again tonight.. after the wife goes to sleep :(

I don't think the demo is even out. Are you talking about the beta?
