There have been some reports of missing tracks lately, but it might just be that the submission server is a little bogged down. Typically, if you're running the plug-in and scrobbling, it will eventually make it to the site.
:lol since when were you a junior member?

I like how the ampache plugin submits the data after playing 1 second of song!!! Meanwhile the foobar plugin seems to submit at the halfway point.

So, it started to give me recommendations!

I only joined because some people were begging everyone they could to join their group, so that they could compile weekly charts. Once they had enough, Nobuo Uematsu was #1 for the first week, so I deserted the group.

Now I just use last.fm to see if my internet connection is working while I'm away, and as proof that Winamp's randomization sucks. 13000 songs and what does it want to play? m-flo nonstop, yo. I can't even skip the songs often enough to remove the tarnish from my listings.

Otherwise I'm fully aware that half of the songs I have can't be read by last.fm and I don't give a single shit. What is with places like this and itunes that want you to provide specific information for each goddamned song? I'm supposed to pour over ten thousand files to ensure that things like the title, artist, or track numbers are correct? How much free time am I supposed to have?

Good to know you might like something obscure like Geddy Lee if you like Rush.

I wonder if there are people who like Geddy and DON'T like Rush. It'd be like eating the ice without the cream. Or something. :lol

This last.fm shit sucks for also not being able to tell me a band half as awesome at Instrumental Prog as LTE. :(

Hm...I'm listed under 4 different artist names, because of slight variations in my mp3 tags.

At first I wasn't inclined to join because there is little representation of underground music...but I think I'll join to change that. On the other hand, I have no time... :P

Is it kosher to change your own artist info? I mean, you're not supposed to Wikipedia...anyone know how this is supposed to work?

Yeah anyone can change information. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

And what do you mean "little representation of underground music?"

Just got a new album... Freecha - Slower Than Church Music... and it is awesome. Great work music or just day dreaming music. Kinda like Boards of Canada but better in my opinion.

trying to find something to listen to while i play WoW but its hard finding anyone with similar tastes than me given just the url.

Does anyone have a list NOT primarily composed of japanese/korean music? (no offense, honestly)

I'm sure this is buried in here somewhere, but I found it really useful. If you use your iPod for 99.9% of your music playing, you should join this group to have last.fm account for your iPod-played tracks- http://www.last.fm/group/iSproggler - and d/l the isproggler plug-in. It looks like they're implementing some iPod recognition in the new client, but it seems spotty and iSproggler definitely gets the job done. When I found it a few months ago, I started using last.fm all over again.
