Sharp TV input issue

I've got a 40" Sharp Aquos LED TV and we're having some issue with the input. Its not letting me selecting anything other then one HDMI port.

It was working fine earlier today, my wife and I watched a couple of episodes of Deep Space 9 on Netflix via my PS3 and when she went to change it back to the DirecTV input, the input menu refuses to let us select anything other then Input 5 (which my PS3 was connected to). I swapped inputs and the DirecTV box is now working on Input 5, but I can't select anything else.

Even if I swap the HDMI cable to another input, the TV won't change inputs. Its like its locked on Input 5 and nothing else.

Has anyone seen anything like this on Sharp TVs and know how to fix it, its kinda annoying.

Not familiar with your Sharp TV specific issue but I assume you've tried something equivalent to a TV reset like unplugging it and doing setup again from scratch?

You say both your PS3 and DirectTV work on Input5 with two different HDMI cables but the other inputs won't work? How many other HDMI inputs does your TV have?

The TV has 4 HDMI inputs (Inputs 4-7). Input 5 is the only one that the TV is allowing us to use. I can swap cables between my PS3 and DirecTV box and both work perfectly fine. If I try to change inputs, the input menu comes up, but when I select a different input, it just flashes and refuses to select it. Only input 5 has a box indicating its picking up a device.

I haven't tried resetting it yet, couldn't hurt to give it a try.

edit

Resetting it fixed it, don't know why it did that. Oh well, at least I don't have to return it. Have to setup my color again though. Thanks for the help.
