Keep in mind that, for this to be made the "traditional" way, you'd need the equivalent of 1-3 million backers at $60-$75 dollars each for publishers to think it was worthwhile.

Could this mean that the game will not be very long?

When the game is completed and delivered to backers, it will also go on sale to the general public.

I mean Iga just got 5.5Mil which was way more than he wanted. So Yu is asking 2Mil for funding this massive wanted game? Wont be surprised if its surpasses that within 24 hours.

Now stretch goals have to inclide Physical PS4 copy and HD remakes of 1+2. This must happen because Yu is about to get a truckload of cash money.

I am guessing extra locations (chapters) will cost a lot of money extra to make. They didn't reveal how much those stretch goals will be.

I really hope this will be the most funded project ever.

I think people misunderstand. This is about risk sharing, it's a type of game where a publisher is unwilling to take the risk of funding a whole project cause profit is uncertain so incentive is needed, like the showing of interest and sharing risk with customers, there's certainly some kind of deal with Sony co financing it.


Some might think this is bad and cheap but really it's a great way for fans to get the games they want that would never otherwise be made.

People shouldn't expect the same game as the first 2, first 2 games were grand expect something smaller just so fans can finish the story, everyone spoke in the first 2 games, i expect a lot of text chat with this budget, the overall experience for this game won't be the same IMO..

Kickstarter is always cheaper than the retail price since you are risking your money as an investor in an unproven incomplete product

I believe some games on KS were cheaper than what they ended up selling for. I wouldn't be surprised if the game will cost $60 retail, but KS backers are just getting a discount basically.

That's assuming itll only get 2 million. If it doesn't dramatically slow down I wouldn't be surprised if this can reach 10 million. Although most other kickstarters slow down very fast after their first day.
