Yooka-Laylee, a Kickstarter that completely sputtered out by the end, saw 5000 new pledges on the last day. If Shenmue 3 only matches that (which it is already trending to far exceed), and at the average pledge of $89, this KS will see $445,000 on the last day. Anyone thinking this won't beat Bloodstained is not following along.

it's likely they've got a set up where they are going to be printing disks in different places across the world for easier and quicker shipping. i'm not super familiar with the process but i assume it'll be similar to most other games where they're printed in the US for the american continent, japan for asia, and germany for europe.

Got another $20 that I'm considering putting in. I stepped down earlier, but I reaaaaally would like one of those capsule toys.... But money's slightly tight with stuff coming up, and it's $20 for a little toy at the end of the day. We'll have to see if they hype grabs me during the last day.
That said, I'd throw another $30 in easy for a digital copy on top of what I have. Add-ons would help a LOT for the last day.

that fucking qte! i swear that one has the least amount of time to react to it in the whole game.
however it was pretty great because of there being three possible outcomes to that scene depending on how well you do in the qte, and all of them are funny on some level.

I'm really not liking all the mystical vibe being given off here which I suspect will only increase as we see more of Shenhua.
i wouldn't read into it too much.
shenmue has been described as magic realism and i'd agree with that. the fact ryo represents the realism and shenhua represents the magic shows that the balance is probably going to be tipped more in the realms of what is real than what is not.
