Couple of nights ago I was taking a dump at 3AM and saw something dark creepin on my bathroom floor. I wasn't wearing my glasses at the time so my vision was kinda blurry. I'm not usually creeped out by bugs (I always let spiders live) but something about this dude rubbed me the wrong way and I instantly grabbed some tissue and killed it (fucker was quick but I managed to get him).
After that I spend some time on Google and found out about these things. Apparently they are pretty harmless and common so I just let it be for that time.
Last night I was up late and went to get a glass of water and saw a big motherfucker in my goddamn kitchen sink! I panicked and just flushed it down with water, after a while realizing it probably did nothing to harm it. I remembered reading that pouring boiling water into plugholes could kill them so I did that right afterwards.
I decided to check my bathroom after that (these are nocturnal animals so only change to catch them is at night) and, what do you know, saw one of this fuckers near my radiator. Killed that one and saw another smaller one running away right next to me. I punched that one with my fist and the only evidence left of it was some weird gray dust on my knuckles. Decided to turn off the lights and come back later and found an another one.
Something about these living here just pisses me off. I don't mind seeing few in my bathroom but finding one in the kitchen was too much. I'd gladly adopt some spiders just to eat these nasty primeval cunts. I just moved here, roughly 1,5 months ago, and the apartment is quite old so they're probably all over the sewage and fighting them seems kinda pointless. I live in a sub-arctic climate so I shouldn't have to deal with this bullshit.
I am curious though if anyone here has any experience with getting rid of them.
And no, I'm not burning the building down (just yet).
