how do you like the new jordans? I am thinking about getting them bc im in the gym 8 hours a day (im a pe teacher). Are they comfortable enough to wear all day?

I'll tell you what... I was buying 2-3 pair of Jordan's until I think Air Jordan 18... after those they felt cheap and were not worth $175+

I tried these on the day they came out and my wife asked how they felt... I told her that they felt incredible.

They have a great solid construction feel, they are really nice shoes... they have inter-changable sole cushions... I really only wear them indoors for hoops... but for three hours of solid running/hoops, they feel great.

I am actually buying the all black color in April... SWEET SHOES!

I am sporting some nice yellow/brown leather Sketchers. BUT!

I got a huge gash in them, which was probably from some edge under a bar counter at one of my haunts. Any way to fix or at least mend it? Suggestions? I love the kicks, and they're only $50, but still, they work well for what I wear... jeans, lol...

Skate shoes ARE comfortable, but I've never had a pair that wasn't completely destroyed within months. In fact, the last pair I got (and subsequently trashed) is what pushed me over the edge to just stick with the ol' Chucks and my "long walk" Nikes.

Currently:

Kangaroos Patch-Lo in awesomely cheeky yellow-and-blue. So so so many compliments on these. I want to get another pair now that these are wearing out, but they're discontinued; 'Roos don't really make many mens shoes now and none that are similar to these.

Onitsuka Limber Up Moscow. Comfortable, insanely light, but the green kind of limits what I can wear them with.

Pony Turf '79 Low, 'cept mine's got an orange stripe instead of black.

I'm looking at some new stuff, and leaning towards either the Pony Infineons or the lower, lighter Seca, which I kind of prefer because I'm not big on dark shoes and the Infineon is only available in dark brown leather.

Also going to have to look into some Ben Shermans. I like what I've seen in this thread, particularly Pochacco's -- those are niiice.

Red Wing work boots. They're pretty expensive ($125), but they're comfortable with good support and they last forever, I've worn the same pair almost every day for about 5 years now. Plus they're made in the US and not in some sweatshop.
