Any boss in FFVI vulnerable to Vanish/Doom
This. After the awesome battle in the first game I was excited to do it again. Until I accidentally hit the attack button while the villain was monologing and he fell to his death.Fable 2.

I think it was in FFVII where you had to fight the Zombie Dragon.
I gave it an X-Potion and was done.
General Scales from Starfox Adventures. You endure the whole game to have an epic fight with this asshole, you are about to hit him and it ends...
Kind of an FF trope in general, there were a couple in FFVII (the only one I remember specifically was the ghost in the cave in Cosmo Canyon), quite a few in FF6, FFX has a handful too that are hurt really badly by healing spells/items...
Metroid: Other M's final boss.

Yeah. The fact that you don't even fight the guy that was the whole reason the character started the journey ....but another character kills him as he starts talking..and talking...after killing your dog. XDI think Fable 2 is the undisputed winner of this one.

It's pretty much like they forgot an extra 0 in his HP.Dark Souls' Pinwheel. If you have a powerful enough character.
If Pinwheel from Dark Souls has a moveset, I have never seen it.
