So far BF4 is the only "next-gen" game at 720p. I wouldn't play it on a console and I greatly prefer console to PC (though I own both).

Pc always. Your games stay with you for the unseen future. With consoles getting rid of bc and PC having hardware advantage, it makes sense to get them on PC

You're in for a rude awakening in a couple of years. I'm pretty sure that as the new gen goes by more and more titles will be 720p and not 1080p on consoles.

They better be 60fps if they're going to give us 720p. 720p/30 as the norm this coming gen would be unacceptable.

Sounds like a decision you need to make. I guess it is easier to have other people make your decisions for you though, right? Only you can determine what's truly important to you. Threads like these just engender PC vs PS4 debates.

I just won't buy those games and I have a PC as well. Sony first party doesn't seem to have an issue with 1080p. DICE got bullied into forcing 60fps into their game when they knew they couldn't pull it off at 1080p.

Yea, I won't buy no more multiplats on console for $60 when the pc versions can be bought for way less and is far superior, idc where my friends play.
