So I just signed up for Time Warner cable internet and discovered one of my apt neighbors has their wifi wide open. I get a perfect signal and get 9-10mbps. Should I keep my cable internet or cancel it? :lol

Yeah, why not ask him about this? Offer to help him pay a little if you can use it, chances are if he's stupid enough to leave it open he won't care.

I've told the story here before, but my old coworker had been using his neighbors wifi for a bit off and on and then cancelled his cable and bragged about just leeching full time. Neighbor enabled WPA like 3 days later... we all laughed.
