It's garbage and a step down from the original in every department. Best to pretend it doesn't exist in all honesty.

Also was the first Grasshopper game to feature songs from Akira Yamaoka.
This piques my interest big time. Wonder what Yamoaka's been up to recently...I feel like Sine Mora is the last game I played with a Yamoaka soundtrack.
Good on you for linking the superior, non-autotuned English version! My favorite song in the game.

^Yes.This link is not Heavenly Star by Genki Rockets. I'm confused. You should fix that.

Or We Are Finally Cowboys.Actually what he meant to link was Pleather for Breakfast.
I remember GAF generally agreeing it was trash.
I enjoy 1's overworld more every time I replay it.They cut some shit like the overworld but added some legit junk like a second playable character and terrible final boss, so it evens out.
And the biggest sin: the soundtrack is nowhere near as good as the first's.

NMH2 is good but it isn't a Suda51 game. Whereas NMH1 was weird and thoughtful and memorable, NMH2 is "just" a pretty good action game with some quirky bits.
It's still a fun game though, I'd recommend picking it up.
Play it. But don't go expecting it to be as good as NMH1. It has its moments but overall I felt it was a lesser experience. With only one boss fight really standing out.
I wasn't a fan of the mini games .
Is there something about browsing GAF that makes people incapable of subtly? Moderation? Anything aside from hyperbolizing everything into being either amazing or absolutel shit?
