Should Kingdom Hearts 3 be cel-shaded in certain Disney Worlds?

Considering literally every 2D Disney movie has very well defined sketch lines, should we expect something similar with KH3? There is plenty of talk of the "Kingdom Shader" which is going to be used to give every world a unique look so it matches that movie better, so does this include cel shading? Would be amazing to see switching back and forth between a celshaded (Aladdin), puppet (Nightmare), soft looking 3d (Pixar) and realistic (Pirates) shaders, but it creates a very distinct look that could be confusing between worlds (see Playstation All Stars).
So Do you want to see a cel-shaded look for certain world or would you rather they just keep with the look they have used the past few games?

To be honest it's an amazing achievement that Kingdom Hearts has kept a rather consistent art style throughout it's life, even with outliers like Pirates of the Caribbean in there.

Despite it being a neat idea, I think having a consistent aesthetic will benefit the game the most. If it keeps changing, it might be a bit obnoxious.

It was consistent because they barely ever moved beyond PS2 level graphics.

Well apparently there will be this real time "kingdom" shader that will help with the post processing effects for each world. So I guess the art style will change depending

Yes......unless Disney buys Coraline
EDIT: Couldnt Stop motion be done just by removing every X amount animation frames?

People already freak out about 30fps "being a slide show."

Though I do think a new game with a claymation aesthetic would be great.

Cel-shaded in the traditional sense would probably clash a bit. They'll make certain worlds stylish in ways but I don't think they'll take a cel-shaded route with it.

I agree. Having a unified art style for so many different franchises is not an easy task. I think what they have going right now is great.

Kingdom Hearts' aesthetics are vastly underrated. In certain worlds, we might see cel-shading, but I trust that SE will keep it simple and clean.

Relevant and punny
Also yes, I would argue KH2 is the best looking PS2 game in terms of graphics and aesthetics. Actually both games would look like PS3 games if there wasnt a constant switching between hipoly and lopoly faces

Igotthatreference.gif I hope so too. Would be sad if she didn't make a new opening song like she did for KH I and II

I meant just the animation frames not the whole game frame...would be an interesting test to say the least

I hope they mix things up in each world. It's always my secret favourite part when I see the game adapt to the worlds. Stuff like HUD changes and my dudes getting variations in their character models is what made the series feel cohesive.

Cant wait to see an action figure Sora and Plushy Goofy in Toy Story world
