wait winterboard is working for ios7 now?

Yes and no. Only the icons are themeable and they have to be 120x120 or they won't change. It doesn't work on A7 devices and it crashes the springboard if you try to search using spotlight.

Using Nova Launcher. The date and time is Minimalistic Text. Icons = Tiny White Icon pack. Calendar = Zooper Widget.

Only the lock screen is blurred. It gives a cool effect of everything 'popping' into clarity when I put my thumb on the home button.

Yeah. Nova launcher allows you to customise the 'grid' of the home screen. I use 5x7 so I can have three widgets on one screen vertically and 5 icons on the other screen.

I would recommend searching on nova icons on the playstore and see what takes your fancy. The goolors icon pack could be what you are looking for.
