Wait. Why does that link have contradictory graphic cards listed? At one part it says 2x 1GB 6850s, but at the top it says "Dual Radeon 5770s in Crossfire Mode"
Might want to make sure you have the 6850s and not the 5770s.
I'm in the same boat, about to buy a custom built from either Avadirect or ordering a prebuilt Systemax from TigerDirect. How do you like yours? Does it seem well built? I was looking at this one for $900. Its only for MMOs so I don't need anything super high powered.
On Topic.
SO close to IvyBridge and with the SandyBridge-Es out i would feel really bad that my brand new PC is already 2 generations old.
But thats just me, i prefer buying in early and being a cool guy.

Speaking of which how big of a deal is Ivy Bridge anyways? I know it is suppose to greatly improve integrated graphics, but for dedicated gpu builds, what are the benefits besides the usual better performance?

But as far as i can tell less heat, smaller sized die, faster ram speeds 1600 official vs 1333 and possibly higher overclocks with less voltage.
i.e
1.4x to reach 5Ghz on Sandybridge
1.3x to reach 5GHz on IvyBridge
Also Ivybridge has a multiplier that goes up to 63 Sandy went to 57....not that this matters to the majority of us. (i got to multiplier 52 before cowering out)
As for SandyBridge-E and IvyBridge-E lets just say theres a reason they are called the Extreme class processors.
