It only works for Europe so far , Right ?

Managed to get my tickets in the UK and FR accounts, it didn't want to work on my Canadian and US accounts ?

I haven't tried on my Japan and Hong Kong Accounts yet...
 
according to PS blog these are the countries where the beta is available:
AE, AU, GB, IE, NZ

Edit: it doesnt seem correct since I could download mine from a FR account

I've been trying to repair mine as well lately. My fucking 40gb is like a zombie, it's dead but at the same time it's not. I've got no money for a new one and there's a lot of shit I want to play. Fucking summer heat, it's lethal alright.

I won't be playing it myself but I wouldn't mind to take just a very quick look at some stream or something similar. Also, I wonder if there is a slim chance for this to come for the PS4. Not counting on it but it would be nice.
 
Guys go to Account Management – Transaction Management – Services List and you should see it appear there. That should mean your fine

It's in my services list, just not in my download list.

I'll probably pass, even if this beta does a good job of minimizing spoilers. One of the great things I loved about the first Dark Souls was the feeling of fresh discovery when I encountered a new monster or entered a new area. There aren't many games that capture that feeling these days.

Besides, I'm getting DS2 on PC.
 
I did a quick translation on the Test Phases Calendar from the JP website:

Network test Round 1: Online Mode Test (Japan Only)
(Sun) 21:00 to 22:00 scheduled September 29 1st test / 2013
Test connection target area : Only in Japan

Network test Round 2 : Server verications (Each region individually, depending of timezones)
Saturday 21:00 to 23:00 scheduled October 12 2nd Test / 2013
Test connection target area: Worldwide (Each Region Individually)

Network test Round 3 : Simultaneously worldwide test with everything running.
(Sun) 16:00 to 19:00 scheduled October 27, 3rd Test / 2013
Test connection target area : Worldwide target (all area simultaneous connections)
Server load verification illusion by simultaneous large-scale log in from all areas, blood stains, blood character message, such as server load verification summoned by asynchronous online elements, such as intrusion, server load verification and the online element synchronizations.

*Result of a strict lottery, only those who have been selected will be notified by e-mail:
*Results be sent to the e-mail address that you registered on Sony Entertainment Network and only for the account who it was selected to (sign in ID).
*If you have been selected for the first and second lottery rounds, you are still capable of test participation subsequently.

You're fine. For anyone freaking out and unsure if the ticket has worked for them, check under Account Management -> Transaction Management -> Services List.

Now just gotta wait and hope you are chosen.
 
I downloaded it first and it worked but when I did the download on ps3 it failed.

Now it says I don't have permission to download it at all on the website ( not in my download list or queue)
I can't even find it on the ps3.

check your services under the account tab.. there should be one for the Beta,.
 
Got the ticket for the EU and JP betas so now I only have to wait for the US ticket to be available and maximize my chances.

I really hope I'll get in! It won't be long sessions though :/
But hey, any DSII is better than no DSII.
 
Not sure what is going on, but its not on the US store anymore. The website site the page cannot be displayed and there is nothing listed in the store on the ps3.

Was it ever actually on the US store? It didn't show up on my PS3, and the web version was on the EU site. I think they just haven't posted it for the US yet.
 
Since I will only get this if it comes out for the PS4-- which probably won't be for a long while-- I've no problem playing a bit of the Beta sooner.
 
The US version may not be available until PSN updates, which is usually around mid afternoon.

I really hope these specific upload times per region are relaxed when the PS4 launches.
 
Is this on the store anywhere on the PS3, or just the website?

I've always had problems logging into the website with the same account info as on my PS3, so I can't use the website.


edit - never mind I found it on the store under latest games.
 
This was already available in the US and then removed? I don't see it on there now.

EDIT: Maybe it'll be active later today?
 
I thought OP meant that the ticket was under my download list, and the language used on the PS Store site made it seem that way, too. But jett is right, it's actually under your Services list, same as PS+ subs...and Unit 13. Three times. Huh.

I assume this doesn't start for a while?

Hahaha, it won't be. If they couldn't do it for two portable launches of the store, they can't do it for the PS4.
